01 Jan Paper Sweeties Inspiration Challenge | January 2016
Hello crafty friends and HAPPY NEW YEAR!! It’s that time of the month again … time for a NEW challenge at Paper Sweeties! Before we share the new inspiration board, let’s congratulate last month’s challenge winner … the votes are in and I’m thrilled to announce our latest winner: Carrie Sheridan!
Carrie’s adorable Santa shaped card stole the show this past month! Contact us, Carrie, to claim your specially selected $25 prize package and get the challenge details for your Guest Designer spot with Paper Sweeties next month … and here’s a {sweet} badge to display on your blog – enjoy!
Paper Sweeties hosts monthly challenges here on the blog! Each 1st of the month we will have a brand new inspiration board to help spark your creativity! It’s as easy as 1-2-3 to create, share and win:
1. CREATE a NEW project based on the current inspiration board using ANY of your favorite crafty supplies — receive an EXTRA VOTE if you use a stamp, die or embellishment from Paper Sweeties! If you don’t have any stamps from Paper Sweeties yet, we have some complimentary digital images for you to try before you buy! Use this month’s board as a starting point for your project — be inspired by one or more of the colors, shapes, theme — ANYTHING GOES!
2. POST a DIRECT LINK to your project in our link gallery below — please link to your blog post (not your entire blog) so we can easily find your creation. You do not need to have a blog to enter — you can use any online gallery to upload your project: Flickr, Pinterest, Facebook or Splitcoast Stampers (keyword papersweeties)!
3. LINK back to this blog post so your readers can easily find us!
Our challenge will run for the entire month. You can play along as many times as you wish and combine with as many other challenges as you want! The challenges will end at 12 pm EST on the last day of each month. The winner will be revealed on the 1st of each month!
Paper Sweeties Inspiration #39:
HOW will YOU be inspired this month — colors, theme, shapes, patterns? I was inspired by the aqua color, snowflakes and glitter in this beautiful photo (CLICK on the photos for close up views):
I have some EXCITING NEWS to announce today … by customer request, Paper Sweeties is launching an ALL NEW Planner Series line of stamps along with an exclusive Paper Sweeties digital Planner/Calendar! The digital pages can be printed and added to a binder to create a planner, or you can print the pages and display on your refrigerator, desk or wall!
Each calendar page has all the Paper Sweeties challenge, blog hop, new release and stamp show dates already highlighted so you can easily keep up to date with what’s going on at Paper Sweeties! In addition, your new Planner/Calendar will also include all the major holidays and important dates for 2016! I created these Planner/Calendars over the past several weeks … they are a labor of love! I hope you enjoy planning your life in style with them! They are SO SWEET! You can download one month at a time, or save $4 by downloading the entire 2016 calendar package! You will LOVE planning and decorating the pages — keep organized in style in 2016!

The digital Planner/Calendar pages are AVAILABLE TODAY and are an INSTANT DOWNLOAD so you can begin to plan your life in style right away! The new January planner stamp sets will be available with the rest of our NEW RELEASE sets on the 15th of this month … but if they arrive sooner, we’ll go ahead and release them before the 15th so you can grab the planner stamps and get busy decorating your new planners/calendars right away! Bookmark our blog and follow us to keep up to date on the status of our new planner sets!
Now, back to my project shares for this month’s challenge at Paper Sweeties …
… Santa Claus brought me a planner for Christmas this year! I was SO in need of something like this to keep track of all the Paper Sweeties challenges, new releases and stamp shows throughout the year!
Now I’ll be able to keep organized in style! I broke out some of the BRAND NEW Planner Series stamp sets to highlight my important dates in January: Winter Sentiments, Happy Icons and Get Your Craft On!
I stamped the dates of the January challenge, blog hop dates, new release date and the days I am teaching classes this month. I added some Washi tape for fun pops of color on the important dates! I created banners with glitter tape to mark January holidays.
Miss Abigail is helping me adorn my January planner pages — dressed so sweetly in her winter coat, hat, mittens, leggins and boots … and walking through a glittery ‘snow’ drift created using the Thanks Snow Much Sweet Cuts die set!
