Paper Sweeties | November 2017 Release Rewind!

Hello crafty friends -- welcome to day #3 of the November 2017 *NEW* product release here at Paper Sweeties!  I hope you were inspired  yesterday by the sneak peek projects the Design Teamies and I shared!  If you missed yesterday's festivities, click --> HERE <-- to check out all the creativity!

For today's rewind project, I'm sharing a fun gift idea I created using some of the brand new goodies released yesterday in our shop in combination with some previously released sets to show you how seamlessly our products work together to help you create one of a kind handmade treasures!  (Click on the photos for larger views!)

I die cut the tag using our For You Sweet Cuts die using fun polka dot patterned paper!  Next, I die cut the beautiful holly leaves from felt using the *NEW* Meet me under the Mistletoe Sweet Cuts set, added some glitter on the edges and buttons in the center for the berries!  I stamped the 'Joy' sentiment using the *NEW* Meet me under the Mistletoe stamp set with Versamark ink and heat embossed with white embossing powder!!  Can I say how ... much ... I ... LOVE the holly leaves and berries stamp & coordinating die -- one of my all-time favorites!!!

I added a button, button twine, gingham ribbon and tinsel to finish off the tag ... and then topped it on a kraft box decorated with Washi Tape and a gingham polka dot bow I got from the Dollar Store!  What do you think???  I'd like to receive anything that was packaged so colorfully in a little box like this, how about you???

Meet me under the Mistletoe

Meet me under the Mistletoe Sweet Cuts

You better not pout

*****

And now for my RELEASE DAY inspiration projects (CLICK on photos for larger views) ...

I used the *NEW* You better not pout stamp set to create the Santa suit and letter in the center of the card -- the cute dimensional cuffs were created using white puffy paint!

The sentiment banner was created by stamping a sentiment using the *NEW* You better not pout directly onto a banner from the Sweet Borders Sweet Cuts die set and the card was topped with a beautiful red satin bow!

I made a tag to coordinate with the card ... using our *NEW* You better not pout stamp set PLUS our amazing For You Sweet Cuts die, Mason Jar Sweet Cuts die and Red & White Chenille Candy Canes!!!

More puffy paint, a button, gingham ribbon, tinsel, button twine and silver ribbon all add to the whimsy of this sweet tag!

I added the tag to a cute little gift bag topped with a patterned paper topper and more red satin ribbon and a glitter snowflake I got from the Dollar Store!

Paper Sweeties | November 2017 Release Sneak Peeks!

Hello crafty friends -- welcome to day #1 of the November 2017 *NEW* product release here at Paper Sweeties!  I hope you were inspired  yesterday by the projects the Planner Design Teamies and I shared using our fun planner stamps!  If you missed yesterday's festivities, click --> HERE <-- to check out all the creativity!

For today's 1st sneak peek project, I am sharing a cute gift tag I created using some of the new goodies which will be live in the boutique TOMORROW  --  (Click on the photos for larger views!)

Using the *NEW* Meet me under the Mistletoe stamp set and coordinating Meet me under the Mistletoe Sweet Cuts die, I stamped & die cut the adorable 'word' tree and using Limon ColorBox Ink.  Next I die cut the stitched tag using the For You Sweet Cuts die and a border from the Sweet Borders Sweet Cuts set and added the border to the bottom of the tag.  I added Bubblegum Sequins as 'ornaments' on the tree and finished the tag off with a couple stickers, a lime green button and some pretty tinsel & ribbons!

For today's 2nd project share, I created another sweet gift tag using the For You Sweet Cuts stitched tag die and a border from the Sweet Borders Sweet Cuts set.

I stamped the sentiment directly onto the patterned paper tag using Coal ColorBox Ink and the *NEW* Meet me under the Mistletoe stamp set!

I die cut the gorgeous glitter holly leaves using the *NEW* Meet me under the Mistletoe Sweet Cuts die set and added raspberry buttons for the 'berries'!  This set is sure to become one of your favorite 'go to' sets for the holidays ... and my mind is already spinning on ideas to use those beautiful leaves on projects for the rest of the year too!!  I finished this little beauty off with some Marshmallow Sequins, a pink button, tinsel and ribbon -- all on top of a Peppermint Ghirardelli Hot Cocoa packet - YUMMY!!!  I sure would love to receive a delicious gift like this for the holidays, how about you?

Welcome crafty friends!  I'm excited to be popping in today to share a tag I created especially for the 2017 edition of the 25 Days of Christmas Tags Blog Hop hosted by Tracey McNeely!

I can hardly believe that winter is nipping at our heels ... it seems like it was just the beginning of summer!  This whimsical and colorful tag was so much fun to create -- I love the untraditional color palette!

This sweet little snowman always makes me smile ... and I love the die cut snow drift created using white glitter paper - so yummy!

Products I used from the Paper Sweeties boutique to create this tag are as follows:

And, I am *sneak peeking* a NEW set that will be released on the 15th ... the #holiday sentiment is from our NEW 'Meet me under the Mistletoe' stamp set!

This bright and cheery little gift bag and tag would be so much fun to give or receive this winter ... fill with hot cocoa, smores, candy, a gift certificate, tea bags, cookies, etc!

PS-Winner BadgePaper Sweeties hosts monthly challenges here on the blog and in our Facebook Group! Each 1st of the month we will have a brand new inspiration board to help spark your creativity!  It's as easy as 1-2-3 to create, share and win:

1. CREATE a NEW project based on the current inspiration board using ANY of your favorite crafty supplies ... you don't have to use products from Paper Sweeties, but we would LOVE if you did!   Use this month's board as a starting point for your project -- be inspired by one or more of the colors, shapes, theme ... ANYTHING GOES!

2. POST a direct link to your project in the link gallery below (if using your blog, please link to your blog post not your entire blog so we can find your creation) or UPLOAD a photo of your project to our FACEBOOK GROUP CHALLENGE ALBUM .  No blog or not on Facebook, no problem -- you can use any of our online galleries to add your project link:  Instagram, Flickr, Pinterest or Splitcoast Stampers - (keyword papersweeties).  Contact us if you have questions or need assistance!

3. LINK back to this blog post so your followers can find us too!  (Back linked posts will not be considered for the monthly prize).

Our challenge will run for the entire month. You can play along as many times as you wish and combine with as many other challenges as you want!  The challenges will end at 12 pm EST on the last day of each month. The winner will be revealed on the 1st of each month!

This month's inspiration board:

HOW will YOU be inspired this month -- colors, theme, shapes, patterns?  I was inspired by the theme, colors and words in this month's fun photo!  (CLICK on the photos for close up views):

I attempted to re-create the pumpkin shape with the large words on my card ... can you see it?  I added a couple die cut vines, some twine, sequins and a stick from my yard for the pumpkin stem!

I used these products from Paper Sweeties to create this fun fall card:

Home is where your story begins

Home is where your story begins Sweet Cuts

For You

For You Sweet Cuts

*****

And now for my RELEASE DAY inspiration projects (CLICK on photos for larger views) ...

I used the Circle Scallop Frames Sweet Cuts die set to make the frame from aqua and black cardstock, and the Sweet Borders Sweet Cuts die set to create the banner with white cardstock.  I  stamped the images and sentiment using the *NEW* Home is where your story begins stamp set onto the white cardstock.  I die cut all the stamped images using the Home is where your story begins Sweet Cuts set, colored them and adhered to the inside of the scallop circle!  I stamped the sentiment onto the banner.

I covered a kraft CD cover with some Mad 4 Plaid patterned paper, made a burlap topper and hot glued some muslin trim to it and then secured the topper to the CD cover with a pretty Licorice Seam Binding bow!  I adhered all the stamped and die cut images onto the front of the CD cover by adding double sided taped to the seam binding wrapped around the middle and adhering the images on top of it.  I used a dab of hot glue to adhere the sentiment banner onto the seam binding.  This way, the recipient can slip the entire bow, topper and images off from the CD cover without tearing or destroying all the pretty packaging!  This project feels so homespun to me -- perfect for a new home or holiday gift!

I made a card to coordinate with the gift ... using all of the products listed above!

Paper Sweeties | October 2017 Release Sneak Peeks!

Hello crafty friends -- welcome to day #1 of the October 2017 *NEW* product release here at Paper Sweeties!  I hope you were inspired  yesterday by the projects the Planner Design Teamies and I shared using our fun planner stamps!  If you missed yesterday's festivities, click --> HERE <-- to check out all the creativity!

For today's sneak peek project, I am sharing a cute gift I created using some of the new goodies which will be live in the boutique TOMORROW  --  (Click on the photos for larger views!)

Using the *NEW* For You stamp set and coordinating For You Sweet Cuts die, I die cut the stitched tag (which is PERFECT to make all kinds of goodies for the upcoming holiday season) and using Coal ColorBox Ink, stamped the sentiment onto the top of the tag.  Next I stamped the adorable little puppy from the Sweeties Pets stamp set and colored him using Prismacolor Pencils and blended with Gamsol.  I added a bit of puppy paw washi tape and come yummy Latte Coffee Sequins for a pop of sparkle!  The tag was tied onto the kraft bag using some delicious Strawberry Seam Binding, and I decorated the bag with more puppy theme washi and a border from the Sweet Borders Sweet Cuts set!

I created a quick little gift card holder to slip inside the gift bag using a kraft gift card sleeve that I wrapped with some patterned paper around the middle.  I hand cut a bone from white cardstock and stamped the sentiment using the For You stamp set and Coal ColorBox Ink.  My next door neighbor recently pet sat with our little Bailey a couple times when Mommy was away, so I wanted to give her a little thank you to show our appreciation for taking such good care of our baby when I was gone!  This little gift idea is perfect all year long to give to someone special on your gift-giving list, but how cute would this be to give to all the pet lovers on your list this holiday season -- change the colors to add a festive holiday theme!!

*NOTE* all patterned papers are from Photoplay Paper!

Paper Sweeties challenge | October 2017!

Hello crafty friends!  It's that time of the month again ... time for a NEW challenge at Paper Sweeties!    Before we share the new inspiration board, let's congratulate last month's challenge winner ... the votes are in and I'm thrilled to announce our latest winner of the September challenge:  Cherry!

We just love both of these oh-so-sweet cards Cherry created!  Abigail is dressed so adorable in her outfit from the Life is a Picnic stamp set and sentiment from the Sweetie Pie stamp set and looks to be having fun out walking on this fine fall day!   Contact us, Cherry, to claim your $25 gift certificate prize ... and here's a {sweet} badge to display on your blog!

I was inspired by the theme, colors and patterns in this month's yummy photo!  (CLICK on the photos for close up views):

I am sneaking a sentiment from one of our *new* sets that will be releasing in the Paper Sweeties boutique on the 15th of this month ... you're going to LOVE the (hint) stitched tag and awesome sentiments from the For You stamp and Sweet Cuts die sets!  I created a sweet fall theme basket and filled it with caramel candies for my first project.  The tag was created using the Little Wishes stamp and coordinating Beautiful Little Wishes Sweet Cuts set!

I used our Basket and Basket Sweet Cuts to make this adorable treat holder!  The box inside is cardstock that I cut 4 1/2" x 5 1/2" and then scored at 1 1/2" on all four sides and folded into a box shape.

I created a coordinating 3" x 3" card using the Thank You stamp and die SET along with the Square Scallop Framed Sweet Cuts die set, Creamsicle Sequins, Cookie Dough Sequins and Pink Grapefruit Sequins.

What an easy little card to mass produce if you need a bunch of them ... and who wouldn't want to receive a yummy little treat basket like this filled with candy, cookies, a gift card, money, etc.!  Makes GREAT TEACH APPRECIATION GIFTS for the upcoming holidays too!
