Paper Sweeties April Release Rewind!

Hello my crafty friends!  It’s hard to believe that today is the final day of project shares for the April *new* products release here at Paper Sweeties … time sure does fly when you’re having fun!   The design teamies and I are sharing projects today created using previously released products along with some new things to show you how you can combine older goodies with new stuff to create FUN little cards, scrapbook pages, gifts and more!

papersweeties debbie 4 16 142 300x225 Paper Sweeties April Release Rewind!

I stamped the beautiful bride & groom image from the Wedding Day stamp set and layered that onto a die cut pink scalloped rectangle.  I adhered a bouquet of satin flowers in the bride’s hands!

papersweeties debbie 4 16 143 300x225 Paper Sweeties April Release Rewind!

I created a pretty nosegay of flowers in the upper left corner of the card and then added a heart shaped tag die cut using the Beautiful Little Wishes Sweet Cuts die set and then stamped the sentiment using the Live Love Laugh stamp set.  I attached the tag to the floral nosegay using a piece of Cotton Candy Baker’s Twine.  Next I created a sentiment banner for the bottom of the card using the Happy Everything stamp set … and then added gorgeous flower-shaped Frosting Sequins on the bottom of the bride’s dress!  To finish my card, I added a snipett of pretty lace trim from The Ribbon Reel.

papersweeties debbie 4 14 141 300x225 Paper Sweeties April Release Party!

I began by stamping an image from the Borders stamp set at the top of my cardstock base and the added a couple of pretty patterned papers in stripes and polka dots – YUM!  I die cut five tiny hearts using the Beautiful Little Wishes Sweet Cuts die and popped them up using dimensionals before adding to my card.  I stamped the polka dot frame and ‘Celebrate’ sentiment using the Beautiful stamp set and then die cut is using the Beautiful Little Wishes Sweet Cuts die!

papersweeties debbie 4 14 142 300x225 Paper Sweeties April Release Party!

I stamped a sweet little banner sentiment using the Happy Everything stamp set and adhered it to a trinket pin.  The bunny is a shrinky dink image that I shrunk down using my heat gun … so FUN!  I finished my card by adding a strip of pink & white gingham washi tape, Raspberry Baker’s Twine and three sweet Raspberry Sequins!

Paper Sweeties April Release Countdown!

Hello crafty friends!  Did you enjoy the Designer’s Blog Hop yesterday for day #1 of the April *new* products release here at Paper Sweeties?  I think the Design Team girls wowed us with their fab-u-lous projects … what do you think??!!

papersweeties debbie 4 15 142 300x225 Paper Sweeties April Release Countdown!

For today’s project, I dressed Emma in a cap and gown outfit  from the *new* ConGRADulations! stamp set … now she’s ready for her graduation!  I made this card for my son’s girlfriend who will be graduating from the teaching program at Campbell University next month – their colors are orange and black!  Creating and dressing little Miss Emma was made quick and easy peesy when using the Emma Sweet Cuts die!

papersweeties debbie 4 15 143 300x225 Paper Sweeties April Release Countdown!

I colored the cap & gown images using Prismacolor Pencils and Gamsol, and then I added a Creamsicle Sequin to the middle of the cap to hold the tassle.  I stamped two of the sentiments from this cute set onto a frame I cut using the *new* Beautiful Little Wishes Sweet Cuts die set and added a border image from the Live Love Laugh set!

papersweeties debbie 4 15 141 300x225 Paper Sweeties April Release Countdown!

I created a sentiment ‘frame’ using sentiments from the So Proud of You stamp set and then finished things off by adding a length of Licorice Baker’s Twine, a sweet jingle bell and a teeny tiny bouquet of roses for the graduate!

Peeps – TKJ Weekly Spotlight!

Debbie TKJ 166 2 300x225 Peeps TKJ Weekly Spotlight!

Hello crafty ‘peeps’!  Today I am spotlighting some of the awesome packaging options carried at The Kraft Outlet Shop!  I began by wrapping a piece of Blue with White Polka Dot Washi Tape around the bottom of a 3x3x2 Kraft Box.  Next I added a piece of paper doilie and onto that I layered a pretty paper bloom and leaves that I hand cut from a Library Card.

Debbie TKJ 166 3 300x225 Peeps TKJ Weekly Spotlight!

Next, I stamped a Grungy Prim Shipping Tag #2 with a sentiment from the Wagon Add-on: bloom & grow stamp set from Paper Sweeties and then added a couple of Grape Sequins.  I tied the tag onto the box using a snipett of Pastel Hemp Cording.  To finish off the top of this Easter gift box, I added a sweet, fluffy pink ‘peep’!

Debbie TKJ 166 1 300x225 Peeps TKJ Weekly Spotlight!

I slipped some goodies inside a Mini Graph Paper Merchandise Bag and then punched a scalloped circle topper using more Library Card paper.  I secured the bag closed with some more Pastel Hemp Cording and then added a Round Metal Edge Grungy Prim Tag onto which I stamped another sentiment from the Wagon Add-on: bloom & grow set and finished this sweet Easter gift off with a couple more Grape Sequins and a pretty Tiny Colored Wooden Clothespin.  I slipped the tiny goodie bag inside the Kraft box and my sweet gift was complete!

Thanks so much for stopping by today!  Hugs – xoxo

Hello crafty friends!  I’m popping in today to share a project I made for this week’s challenge at The Shabby Tea Room #213 – ‘Floral Fantasy’!  We are looking for the colors from the inspiration photo + flowers and ribbon/lace … easy peesy, right??!!??

Debbie TSTR 213 2 300x225 You Are The Most Wonderful TSTR #213

I began with a base of lucky limeade cardstock onto which I layered some pretty patterned paper from Crate.  Next I stamped a sentiment from the You Are The Most Wonderful set on the top left of the card – directly onto the vanilla, lace pattern paper.  I added a paper doilie and a lovely bow tied using some pink chevron twill tape.

Debbie TSTR 213 3 300x225 You Are The Most Wonderful TSTR #213

I adhered a couple of Cotton Candy iridescent sequins and some beautiful paper blooms – using a Green Apple Straw for the ‘leaves’.  Last, I stamped ‘mother’ onto a little tag using the You Are The Most Wonderful set again and tied it onto the nosegay of flowers using Cotton Candy Baker’s Twine.

I began with a base of cardstock and patterned paper onto which I layered a springtime tree branch die cut using the Thanks Snow Much Sweet Cuts set and ‘blooming’ with pretty Robin Egg iridescent sequin flowers – so beautiful and sparkly IRL!  Next I created a sentiment banner using the Banner Wishes and Home Tweet Home stamp sets!

To finish my design, I created a sweet little bird house, nest and blue bird stamped using the Sending Springtime stamp set and perched all the images on top of a Robin Egg Paper Straw.  I added another Robin Egg sequin for the little bird house door.  Last, I layered a die cut fence and then some grass I created using the Thanks Snow Much Sweet Cuts die.
