18 Nov Homespun Holidays – TSTR #193
Hello crafty friends! I hope you had a wonderful weekend filled with everything you love! I’m sharing a little card I recently made for this week’s challenge at The Shabby Tea Room – ‘Gingham Country Christmas‘!
The Tea Room is sponsored this week by My Time Made Easy and I used the Gingham Candied Apple paper from the shop on the base of my card – LOVE!!
I stamped the presents and adorable little rocking horse using the Homespun Holidays stamp set and then die cut them with the coordinating Homespun Holidays Sweet Cuts die – easy peesy! The sentiment was stamped onto a banner using the same set and then double mounted on a base of Kraft cardstock! The tree was die cut from aqua glitter chipboard using a die from PTI and then I added some homespun cotton lace trim, burlap ribbon bow and a couple of delicious Rusty Jingle Bells!
Please be sure to visit The Shabby Tea Room to be inspired by the rest of the teamies gorgeous projects this week, and then I hope you’ll have time to give our ‘Gingham Country Christmas’ challenge a try for a chance to win an awesome prize package from My Time Made Easy!
I decided that I am going with an aqua, red and cream color palette for my main holiday card this year! I adore these colors together!! I have about 30 cards made … 30 more to go! Off to get a couple more made …
Inspired by these lovely challenges: Merry Monday #84 – trees with bling; Word Art Wednesday #106 – anything; Festive Friday #21 – red/aqua/white; Ribbon Carousel #87 – holiday/celebration; There She Goes #234 – winter fun
Thanks for stopping by today … hugs – xoxox
