The votes are in and I’m thrilled to announce the winner of the Paper Sweeties March Inspiration Challenge #29 – ‘Waiting For Spring’: Dawn from Designs by Dragonfly!

Paper Sweeties hosts monthly challenges here on the blog! Each month on the 1st we will have a brand new inspiration board to help spark your creativity. You can enter as many times as you wish throughout the month — the more times you enter, the more chances you’ll have to win!

It’s as easy as 1-2-3 to create, share and win:

1. CREATE a NEW project based on the current inspiration board using any of your favorite crafty supplies — receive an EXTRA VOTE if you use something from Paper Sweeties such as a stamp, die or embellishment!  If you don’t have any stamps from Paper Sweeties yet, we have some complimentary digital images for you to try out!  Use this month’s board as a starting point for your project — be inspired by one or more of the colors, shapes, theme — anything goes!

2. POST a DIRECT LINK to your project in our link gallery below — please link to your project post (not your entire blog) so we can easily find your creation. You do not need to have a blog to enter — you can use any of our online galleries to upload your project:  Flickr, Pinterest, Facebook or Splitcoast Stampers (keyword papersweeties)!

3. LINK back to this blog post so your readers can easily find us!

Paper Sweeties Inspiration #30 – ‘Hoppy Easter’

HOW will YOU be inspired this month — colors, theme, sweet treats??  CLICK on the photos for enlarged views …

I was inspired by the colors along with the peeps on a stick wrapped in cellophane and tied with baker’s twine … so I created a s’mores kit with a spring/Easter theme!

Stamp supply list:  So Sweet of You, Jelly Bean Time, Baskets and Bunnies, Hippity Hoppity Easter Wishes

Die supply list:  Stitched Tags #1 Sweet Cuts, Hippity Hoppity Easter Wishes Sweet Cuts

Embellishments materials list:  Spring Peeps Sequins, Cotton Candy Baker’s Twine, Green Apple Baker’s Twine, Robin Egg Baker’s Twine, Grape Baker’s Twine, Mint Straw, Grape Straw, Cookie Dough Straw, Cotton Candy Straw

I added large fluffy marshmallows to the ends of the paper straws, wrapped them with cellophane, tied the end with yummy baker’s twine and then added sweet stitched tags stamped with fun springy sentiments and embellished with sparkly sequins – YUM!  They look so cute added to a miniature milk glass mason jar filled with green paper grass … springy and fun!

For the rest of the smores kits, I added graham crackers and a chocolate bar inside a glassine bag, folded a pretty white paper doilie over the top end and then wrapped some delicious baker’s twine around the glassine bag to hold the doilie on.

I stamped some sweet spring/Easter images, colored them with Prismacolor Pencils and Gamsol along with Copic markers … and then added some sparkly Wink of Stella for some SHINE!

I added the smores kits inside a pink berry basket filled with green paper grass — so adorable!
