Hello crafty friends!  I’m soooo excited to be popping in today to share a little something sweet and shabby I recently created for the Summer edition of the Coffee Lover’s Blog Hop!  You won’t want to miss a single minute of the fun and inspiration … there are so many ‘super sponsors’ participating this time around — it’s going to be an A-MAZING event, and I’m tickled to be a part of all the creativity!

I started with a base of Oatmeal Cookie cardstock and then layered on Sweet Berry and Bubble Gum cardstock finishing with a layer of Aqua Screen patterned paper.  I inked all the paper edges with cream paint to create a time-worn look, and then machine zig-zag stiched along the edges.  I die cut a tea pot shape from Floral Bunches patterned paper using the Tea For Two Sweet Cuts die.  I stamped a sweet heart tag on Buttercream cardstock using Cool Pool ink and then die cut the heart using the Beautiful Little Wishes Sweet Cuts die.  Next I stamped the ‘Hello Friend’ sentiment with Sweet Berry ink using the Little Wishes stamp set and attached the ‘tea bag tag’ to the tea pot with a snipett of aqua twine.

I added a rouched paper ruffle using text paper and then adhered a length of vintage crochet trim in a coordinating Oatmeal color.  I created a pretty nosegay of paper flowers, pearl trinket pins, pretty glitter leaves die cut using the Party Time Sweet Cuts die set and a beautiful tea-stained Frosting Seam Binding bow.

To finish my card, I added several lovely, flower-shaped, iridescent Sugar Sprinkles Sequins for a POP of bling!  (Cardstock and ink from Fun Stampers Journey, patterned papers from Recollections by Michael’s).
