Hello sweeties … welcome to day TWO of project shares for the Paper Sweeties January *NEW* Product Release!  Did you LOVE all the ideas shared yesterday by the design team as much as I did??!!??   I’m excited to be sharing another crafty project made using the *new* baby-theme products that will be available to purchase in the Paper Sweeties boutique on the 15th!  (Click on the photos to see larger views).

For today’s project I created a miniature crib and mobile using lots of fun goodies from the Paper Sweeties boutique!

The crib is a small kraft box that I inked to give it a time-worn look.  I embellished with lace, satin flowers and scalloped velvet trim.  The posts were created using Cotton Candy Paper Straws — I added clear buttons and candy dots to the top of the posts.

I double cut an oval shape twice with pink cardstock and once with a piece of cardboard and then made a sandwich by adhering the two cardstock pieces to the top and bottom of the cardboard to create stability for the mobile.

I stamped and die cut adorable little images to hang on my mobile and then attached the pieces with lengths of Peppermint Baker’s Twine.  How CUTE are the giraffe and elephant??  The mobile was attached to the crib by hot gluing a wooden dowel and then a pink terry cloth ‘blanket’ was added to the inside of the crib for bedding.
