20 Jan You Melt My {heart} – TSTR #202
Hello crafty friends! I hope you had a good weekend and stayed warm and snuggly … it was cold here where I live – burrr! So, the inspiration photo for this week’s ‘Baby It’s Cold Outside’ challenge at The Shabby Tea Room is perfect for this time of the year in the US! We’re asked to create something using white/cream, red, green, a bow and something silver … FUN!
Bugaboo Stamps is this week’s Tea Room sponsor and I created my card using the Snowman Skates digital image! Super cute, right?? I started with a base of Soft Sky cardstock — reminded me of a crisp, clear, chilly winter day!
I colored the image with glitter markers and fussy cut him out. I added little Mr. Frosty on top of a glittered chipboard snowbank that I die cut using the Thanks Snow Much Sweet Cuts die from Paper Sweeties. Next I added a glittered chipboard frame and stamped the sentiment inside using the Thanks Snow Much stamp set. A bow, a metal snowflake embellishment and a couple of teeny tiny silver jingle bells with baker’s twine were added to complete my card.
Please be sure to hop on over to the Tea Room to check out the beautiful inspiration from the rest of the Shabby Girls … and then I hope you have time to play along this week for a chance to win some goodness from Bugaboo Stamps!
Thanks for stopping by today! Hugs – xoxo
