PS-Winner Badge

Paper Sweeties hosts monthly challenges here on the blog! Each 1st of the month we will have a brand new inspiration board to help spark your creativity!  It’s as easy as 1-2-3 to create, share and win:

1. CREATE a NEW project based on the current inspiration board using ANY of your favorite crafty supplies — receive an EXTRA VOTE if you use something from Paper Sweeties such as a stamp, die or embellishment!  If you don’t have any stamps from Paper Sweeties yet, we have some complimentary digital images for you to try out!  Use this month’s board as a starting point for your project — be inspired by one or more of the colors, shapes, theme — ANYTHING GOES!

2. POST a DIRECT LINK to your project in our link gallery below — please link to your project post (not your entire blog) so we can easily find your creation. You do not need to have a blog to enter — you can use any online gallery to upload your project:  Flickr, Pinterest, Facebook or Splitcoast Stampers (keyword papersweeties)!

3. LINK back to this blog post so your readers can easily find us!

Our challenge will run for the entire month. You can play along as many times as you wish and combine with as many other challenges as you want! The challenges will end at 12 pm EST on the last day of each month. The winner will be revealed on the 1st of each month!

Paper Sweeties Inspiration #38:

papersweeties-inspiration#38

HOW will YOU be inspired this month — colors, theme, shapes, patterns?  I was inspired by the theme, shape, ornament, bells, holly leaves and sentiment in this beautiful holiday photo (CLICK on the photos for close up views):

papersweeties-debbie-12-1-15(6)

I created sweet little ornaments by turning the Snow Globe from the  Snow Time Sweet Cuts set upside down and die cutting it eight times using a variety of different patterned papers!  The ‘JOY’ sentiment was die cut using the Joy Sweet Cuts set!

papersweeties-debbie-12-1-15(7)

I enjoyed creating eight different ornaments with coordinating papers and embellishments!

This cutie pie is dotted with aqua Stickles!

papersweeties-debbie-12-1-15(8)

The holly leaves were created using the Holly Days Sweet Cuts set!

papersweeties-debbie-12-1-15(4)

I had just the perfect mini pink flocked tree to decorate with all of these adorable and sweet handmade ornaments!

papersweeties-debbie-12-1-15(9)

Bells and baubles … sequins and glitter … ribbons and flowers!

papersweeties-debbie-12-1-15(2)

Here I added a couple of the delicious Snowflake Sequins – I love the white on white!

papersweeties-debbie-12-1-15(3)

And then I created a pretty tree topper with aqua tulle, a pink & white chenille candy cane and some more fun baubles!

papersweeties-debbie-12-1-15(10)

I LOVE how this tree turned out … what do you think??

papersweeties-debbie-12-1-15(1)

And, I put a little snow globe I created several years ago under the tree …

I used the Little Wishes and Beautiful Little Wishes Sweet Cuts to create the tiny tag!

papersweeties-debbie-12-1-15(11)

The snow globe is a tiny canning jar and I put a glittered pine cone and some glitter snow inside, then decorated the top with pretty bits and bobs of treasures from my craft baskets!

Can I say great minds think alike? I turned the snow globe upside down for my design, too. Your little tree is just so incredibly sweet. I love the pink, especially combined with the soft aqua.
