01 Jan Paper Sweeties Inspiration Challenge #15!
Hello sweeties!! I’m so happy you stopped by the blog today!
The votes are in and I’m thrilled to announce the winner of the Sweeties Sketch Inspiration #14 Challenge: Donna Baes
Now, we have Paper Sweeties Inspiration #15 to share with you all!! Paper Sweeties hosts monthly challenges right here on the blog! Each month on the 1st we will have a brand new inspiration for you to play along with. You can enter as many times as you wish throughout the month — the more times you enter, the more chances you’ll have to win!
It’s as easy as 1-2-3 to create, share and win:
1. CREATE a NEW project based on the current inspiration graphic using any of your favorite crafty supplies — receive an EXTRA VOTE if you use something from Paper Sweeties such as a stamp, die, embellishment or complimentary digital image! Use this month’s graphic as a starting point for your project — be inspired by one or more of the colors, shapes, theme — anything goes … most important — HAVE FUN and let our photo inspiration spark your creativity!
2. POST a DIRECT LINK to your project in our link gallery below — please link to your project post (not your entire blog) so we can easily find your creation. You do not need to have a blog to enter — you can use any of our online galleries to upload your project: Flickr, Pinterest, Facebook or Splitcoast Stampers (keyword papersweeties)!
3. LINK back to this blog post so your readers can easily find us!
Our challenge will run for the entire month. You can play along as many times as you wish — the more times you play, the more chances you have to win! The challenges will end at 12 pm EST on the last day of each month. The new challenge will be revealed on the 1st of each month. The winner of the previous month’s challenge will be announced on the 1st of each new month, will win a $20 shopping spree to the Paper Sweeties boutique and will be invited to Guest Design with the Sweeties next month!
Paper Sweeties Inspiration #15:
I found my inspiration in the theme of this month’s board … the sweet little girl dressed to look like a fluffy little snowgirl … so adorable!
I created a puffy 3-D snowman ornament using the Homespun Holidays and Thanks Snow Much stamp sets along with the Homespun Holidays and Thanks Snow Much Sweet Cuts dies!
I stamped and die cut sweet snowflake and heart shapes – using some of the larger shapes to create a snow theme banner for the little snowman to hold and the smaller snowflake shapes to create ear muffs and a pom-pom for the snowman’s hat! Using the coordinating Sweet Cuts dies for these stamps makes it quick and easy to assemble this little cutie pie!
To finish off this little guy, I added some teeny tiny silver jingle bells and silver ribbon strung through the top of his hat, bright red & white stripped ribbon, a pink satin flower and holly shaped leaves die cut from sage cardstock. The use of fun polka dot and stripped pattern papers make this little fella whimsical and fun! I hung him on a little table top snowman theme tree in my kitchen that I leave up during the winter months, but he would make a cute gift or package topper too!
We are very excited here at Paper Sweeties because we are debuting our shiny and brand new Design Team today! I know you will find so much inspiration in these talented ladies’ creations … we are so blessed to have such an amazing team this year to spark your creativity!! Please be sure to visit the other Sweeties Teamies’ blogs to be INSPIRED by their creative and beautiful projects … and then we hope you’ll have time this month to play along with the Paper Sweeties Inspiration Challenge #15 for a chance to win some goodies and guest design with us next month!
