Deck The Halls – Merry Monday #67!

Deck The Halls – Merry Monday #67!

Hi crafty peeps!  My oh my … how the month of June is flying by 🙁  I’m popping in today to share a little something sweet that I recently created for this week’s #67 sketch challenge at Merry Monday!  I’m so happy to be joining Lesley and the MM girlies this month as their featured designer!!

papersweeties-merrymonday-june17(2) I dug out some old, and treasured Cosmo Cricket holiday paper and goodies to create my card for today!  Don’t you just love that sweet chipboard music note candy cane??  I punched a star from gold glitter paper and then added a button, twine and a rusty jingle bell to the pretty little nosegay.

papersweeties-merrymonday-june17(3)The nosegay was adhered to a red and white polka dot grosgrain ribbon bow that was tie on top of some crochet lace trim and a pretty white paper doilie.  A snipett of holiday sheet music paper was added to the bottom of the card base and I created the scallop on the bottom of the sketch using festive, red buttons!  Last, but certainly not least, I stamped the sentiment using the Sending Holiday Cheer stamp set from Paper Sweeties!

papersweeties-merrymonday-june17(1)I love how this card turned out … especially all those yummy buttons!  I’ll have to save it to send to someone very special this holiday season!!

I’ll be back again next Monday for my fourth and final project as the June Featured Designer for Merry Monday — see you then!

Challenges I was inspired by:  Festive Friday #10 – vintage; Moxie Fab World – Mixy Matchy style challenge; Really Reasonable Ribbons #74 – dots with ribbon; There She Goes #212 – anything; Fussy & Fancy #91 – button up

I love all the details on your beautiful card! The little notes on the candy cane are darling, and all the ribbon, lace and finishing touches are stunning. Careful who you give this to – it should only go to someone who truly appreciates it (lemme know if you want my mailing address)!
