Imported from the North Pole!

Imported from the North Pole!

Hello sweeties!  Hard to believe that Christmas is only one week away!  It was ‘just’ June, so I’m not sure how that happened?!?  Are you ready??

papersweeties-debbie-dec18(1)

I’m putting the finishing touches on my last minute handmade gifts and whipped up a couple of these cuties that I will fill with homemade cookies, fudge and candies!

papersweeties-debbie-dec18(2)I made this {sweet} tag by die cutting a snowflake shape and then adding a gingerbread couple stamped using the Ho Ho Ho stamp set and then die cut with the coordinating Ho Ho Ho Sweet Cuts die!  I added a sweet candy cane in between the little Mr. & Mrs. – stamped and die cut from the same two sets!

papersweeties-debbie-dec18(3)I tied the tag I made onto the top of the can using some silver ribbon and added a yummy Red & White Chenille Candy Cane and a couple of silver jingle bells!  The final touch to this {sweet} treat was the addition of a paint can opener so the recipient can dig into the goodies inside the can!I found the printable patterns for the can wrappers on line — which came with a recipe for ‘play snow’ too!  What a fun gift idea — especially for those of us that live in the south and don’t get to see snow that often!papersweeties-debbie-dec18(5)But like I mentioned above, mine will be filled with homemade {sweet} treats to eat this holiday season!

Thanks for stopping by today!  Wishing you a wonderful holiday season surrounded by people you love and things you enjoy!

Hugs – xoxo
