Hello sweeties!! I’m so happy you stopped by the blog today!
The votes are in and I’m thrilled to announce the winner of the Sweeties Sketch Inspiration #13 Challenge: Karen Letchworth
Now, we have Paper Sweeties Inspiration #14 to share with you all!! Paper Sweeties hosts monthly challenges right here on the blog! Each month on the 1st we will have a brand new inspiration for you to play along with. You can enter as many times as you wish throughout the month — the more times you enter, the more chances you’ll have to win!
It’s as easy as 1-2-3 to create, share and win:
1. CREATE a card or project based on the current inspiration graphic using any of your favorite crafty supplies! You’ll get an extra vote if you use ANYTHING from the Paper Sweeties Shop!! Use the graphic as a starting point for your project — be inspired by the colors, shapes, theme — anything goes … most important — HAVE FUN and let our photo inspiration spark your creativity!
2. POST a DIRECT LINK to your project in our Inlinkz gallery below — please use the URL to your actual project post (not your entire blog) so we can easily find your creation. You do not need to have a blog to enter — you can use any online gallery such as Flickr, Pinterest, Facebook or Splitcoast Stampers (keyword papersweeties)! You can pin your Paper Sweeties creations directly to our Friends of Paper Sweeties Pinterest Board — contact me for an invitation to contribute!
3. LINK back to this blog post so your readers can easily find us!
Our challenge will run for the entire month. You can play along as many times as you wish — the more times you play, the more chances you have to win! The challenges will end at 12 pm EST on the last day of each month. The new challenge will be revealed on the 1st of each month. The winner of the previous month’s challenge will be announced on the 1st of each new month, will win a $20 gift certificate to the boutique and will be invited to Guest Design with the Sweeties next month!
Paper Sweeties Inspiration #14:
So, I pulled out some of my favorite dies and cut a sparkly tree and window to re-create this precious winter scene! I added a snipett of lace trim for the window valance and some delicious marshmallow sequins from my sweet friend, Paulina’s, Pretty Pink Posh Etsy Shop!
I die cut a couple of snow drifts using the *brand new* Thanks Snow Much Sweet Cuts die set — RELEASED TODAY in the shop — and adhered them to the base of my card using dimensionals in between to add depth.
I stamped sweet little Emma onto cream cardstock and then die cut her using the Emma Sweet Cuts die. Next, I stamped the cape from the Warm Winter Wishes set onto pink patterned paper, cut it out and dressed Emma in it! Last, I stamped the sentiment onto a die cut banner using the Let It Snow stamp set and adhered it to the top of my card!
Please be sure to visit the other Sweeties Teamies’ blogs to be INSPIRED by their creative and beautiful projects … and then we hope you’ll have time this month to play along with the Paper Sweeties Inspiration Challenge #14 for a chance to win some goodies and guest design with us next month!
