17 Jun Coffee, yes please | Summer Coffee Lovers’ Hop!
Hello crafty friends and fellow coffee lovers! I’m so excited to be sharing a little something I created for the latest edition of the ever popular Coffee Lovers’ Blog Hop!
I love the beautiful color palette on the cards of light and hot pink, buttercream yellow and lime green – I took inspiration from the gorgeous patterned paper from Echo Park! The soft, feminine feel of this card is so pretty, don’t you think?
I die cut the lacey heart twice – once with white for the center and once with hot pink for the lace. I stamped the sentiment on the white layer using lime green ink and then colored the coffee bean ‘o’ with a Prismacolor Pencil blending with Gamsol. I stamped the coffee cup in light pink, die cut and then die cut the tiny hot pink heart and popped both layers with foam dots. The steam was die cut with buttercream cardstock and beautiful glitter was added for some sparkle and shine!
Last, I die cut a couple of leaves using glitter cardstock and hot glued a pink paper bloom and the leaves to the corner of the cup. A berry colored gingham ribbon ruffle was added along with a button twine bow. Machine zig-zag stitching was added around all outer edges. What do you think? Girly and fun!
