I shared these projects on December 2nd - click HERE to see how they were created and to grab the materials list!

Today, I'm sharing some more fun gift ideas for the holidays and winter season ... I used hot cocoa, but these could very easily be created with coffee or tea as well!

I cut 2 pieces of pink cardstock for the front and back of the pocket and hot glued them together around the edges.  I decorated the front of the pocket with cute patterned papers & a sticker from Doodlebug (the Doodlebug goodies used on this project are no longer available in our shop, but I included links to similar papers and stickers that we have available) and then embellished the pocket and spoon using stamps and dies from Paper Sweeties!

For today's second project, I created another sweet gift basket filled with a peppermint hot cocoa K-cup - yummy!

These little baskets are so much fun to make ... and give!

I just love this winter theme set created with our adorable Mr. Snowman!!!

Paper Sweeties | Fall & Winter 2018 Coffee Hop!

Welcome crafty friends and fellow coffee lovers!   I'm super excited to share a sweet holiday project I recently created in honor of this years Fall/Winter Coffee Lovers Blog Hop event!

I created this adorable treat basket using a mixture of products available at Paper Sweeties ...

... and filled my treat basket with a Peppermint flavored Hot Cocoa K-cup!

I created a coordinating card to go along with my treat!

I used our newest sentiment stamp set called Merry - LOVE!!!

What a 'sweet' set!  You can filled the treat basket with K-cups, tea bags, candy, gift cards, money, tea cookies, jewelry, etc.  These would make adorable teacher appreciation gifts or party favors!  How about making up a bunch of them for the holidays and then giving them to friends and family who visit you for the holidays!  They are so much fun to make ... and even more fun to give!

We've put together a KIT to make this fun gift set ... everything included to make the treat box and card except for the stamp set - sold separately (links to products in gallery below).

If you already own our sweet Basket Sweet Cuts die, we have a downloadable template (link in gallery below) to create the middle portion of the treat box so you can fill your sweet treat with goodies!

Click here ---> to see our all in one Treat Box Sweet Cuts die that will make a complete box that you can fill with treats (no middle portion needed)!

Paper Sweeties + 2017 Summer Coffee Lovers Blog Hop!

Hello crafty friends - thanks for stopping by my blog today!  I'm excited to share a little something I recently created for the Summer 2017 Edition of the Coffee Lovers Blog Hop!  I took inspiration from not only the coffee theme, but from the colors in the graphic too!!

I really enjoyed sitting down at my desk to create this 'just because' card with a fun coffee theme!  Madison is the newest Sweetie to join our little stamp family and I had fun dressing her in this cute outfit from the Live Love Grow stamp set - I imagined her working at this oh-so-sweet coffee shop, so she had to sport an apron, a coffee shop logo T and ... of course ... a cup of ICED COFFEE!  I stamped Maddy onto vanilla cardstock and then die cut her using the Madison Sweet Cuts die.  The outfit was stamped on white cardstock and several scrap pieces of patterned paper and then paper pieced together!

I adore the sentiment from the Tackle life one cup at a time stamp set ... 'coffee and friends' ... and Maddy's friend, as you can see, is this sweet little pup from the Sweeties Pets stamp set!  The coffee stand was created by stamping the Sweeties Stand onto white cardstock, coloring in the background and then stamping the awning portion again onto patterned paper and paper piecing it onto the stand base.  (Click on photo for larger view).

I added some fun coffee images and a sentiment for inside the hanging sign using the Planner Series: Coffee stamp set and finished this little cutie pie off by adding some die cut clouds created using the Let's go to the beach Sweet Cuts set!  I created this scene on a card base, but when I was finished, I thought to myself that this would be really cute on a scrapbook page with a pic of me and my bestie - *note to self!

I am delighted to once again be a sponsor for this fun hop -- Paper Sweeties has donated a $25 gift certificate to one lucky winner ...

... and additionally, we are offering a second FLASH prize of (1) stamp set and (1) die set of winner's choice to another lucky ducky ...

... and, last but certainly not least, we are offering a 'Choose your discount SALE' during the hop - enter appropriate coupon code at checkout to redeem your DISCOUNT!

Thanks again for popping in to see what I created for this season's coffee event - xoxo

Cardstock and ribbon is from Fun Stampers Journey: Whip Cream, Sweet Berry and Electric Lime; ribbon is Sweet Berry Gingham.  I used Kaisercraft glitter gel pens to color the image.  SO tweet -- what do you think???

Coffee, yes please | Summer Coffee Lovers’ Hop!

Summer Coffee Lovers Blog HopHello crafty friends and fellow coffee lovers!  I'm so excited to be sharing a little something I created for the latest edition of the ever popular Coffee Lovers' Blog Hop!

papersweeties-debbie-6-17-16(3)

I love the beautiful color palette on the cards of light and hot pink, buttercream yellow and lime green - I took inspiration from the gorgeous patterned paper from Echo Park!  The soft, feminine feel of this card is so pretty, don't you think?

papersweeties-debbie-6-17-16(2)

I die cut the lacey heart twice - once with white for the center and once with hot pink for the lace.  I stamped the sentiment on the white layer using lime green ink and then colored the coffee bean 'o' with a Prismacolor Pencil blending with Gamsol.  I stamped the coffee cup in light pink, die cut and then die cut the tiny hot pink heart and popped both layers with foam dots.  The steam was die cut with buttercream cardstock and beautiful glitter was added for some sparkle and shine!

papersweeties-debbie-6-17-16(1)

Last, I die cut a couple of leaves using glitter cardstock and hot glued a pink paper bloom and the leaves to the corner of the cup.  A berry colored gingham ribbon ruffle was added along with a button twine bow.  Machine zig-zag stitching was added around all outer edges.  What do you think?  Girly and fun!

papersweeties-debbie-9-25-15(1)

I had so much fun creating this yummy card with a nod toward the upcoming holidays!  I die cut the mug using aqua glitter paper, cut a slit at the top and inserted a stamped peppermint stick - sugared with clear wink of stella!

papersweeties-debbie-9-25-15(3)

The cupcake was stamped twice -- once on white cardstock and once again on aqua polka dotted patterned paper.  I die cut the cupcake, paper pieced the holly leaves, added sequins for the berries, colored the cake and sugared the frosting with delicious glitter!  'JOY' was stamped, gingham ribbon and a paper doilie were added for some homespun charm.

papersweeties-debbie-9-25-15(4)

I created a gift to match my card -- the mitten was created from a kitchen hand towel.  A fabric ruffle, pom-pom trim and buttons were added to the cuff of the mitten.

papersweeties-debbie-9-25-15(5)

I hot glued a pretty aqua paper flower, pink leaves, a sweet chenille candy cane, jingle bells tied on with baker's twine and a sentiment tag!

papersweeties-debbie-9-25-15(6)

Yummy treats were added inside my sweet mitten -- I stamped another cupcake, die cut it and repeated the same decorating process as above.  I decorated a Peppermint Bark tea bag with a felt doilie, sentiment tag and cute little aqua wooden clothespin.  Both were adhered to aqua Paper Straws and then inserted inside the mitten which was stuffed with white paper crinkle!

papersweeties-debbie-9-25-15(2)

This is my all-time favorite color palette to create with -- aqua, pink and red -- YUM!  I'm smitten with this adorable holiday gift set ... what do you think??

papersweeties-debbie-9-25-15(7)

I used these goodies from the Paper Sweeties boutique to make these projects:

The holidays will be here before we know it ... I'm happy I have one gift checked off my list!  My favorite thing to give to family and friends during the holidays is a handmade from the heart gift -- made with love!  I hope you'll have time to share a little something yummy and sweet for the Fall Coffee Lover's Blog Hop -- lots of fabulous sponsors who have generously donated wonderful prizes, amazing inspiration from so many talented paper crafters ... and LOADS OF FUN!
