11 Dec Winter | Holiday 2015 Coffee Lover’s Hop!
Welcome, crafty friends, to the Winter & Holiday Coffee Lovers’ Blog Hop! I’m a coffee lovin’ type of gal, and this time of year I love Peppermint Coffee – yummy! Click on the photos for larger views!
Today I will be sharing three sweet projects I created and paired together to give to the wonderful gals that take my monthly classes — they are all so wonderful and supportive, so I wanted to give them a little handmade from the heart holiday goodie!
I got cute little kraft handled bags and wrapped the bottom with Washi tape. I die cut the ‘Joy‘ sentiment with red cardstock and adhered it to the top of the bag. Next I die cut the sweet gingerbread man from the Sugar and Spice Sweet Cuts set from a piece of glitter foam I got from the Dollar Store, tied some gingham ribbon around his neck and added a Rusty Bell. His eyes were die cut, a Pink & White Chenille Cane was added to his hand and I added ric-rac trim using Liquid Pearls.
He is cute as can be in real life — sparkly and sweet!
I added some yummy treats inside the little gingerbread man bag …
I tied some pretty pink grosgrain ribbon around a packet of Ghiradelli Peppermint Hot Cocoa and added a Cotton Candy Paper Straw. Next I die cut the mug from the Homemade With Love Sweet Cuts set from some red glitter paper. The peppermint stick was die cut from polka dot patterned paper and inserted into the cocoa mug. I added green leaves from the Mistletoe Sequin mix and then added Cotton Candy Sequin berries!
Delicious!
To finish off this gift set, I added some more Washi tape to the bottom of a glassine bag and put two Pepperidge Farm Gingerbread Man cookies inside the bag. I wrapped some Peppermint Baker’s Twine around the little bag and tied a mini gingerbread cookie cutter onto the bag. I stamped a sentiment from the Homemade With Love stamp set onto a paper doilie, adhered it to the glassine bag and then added a cute little gingerbread sticker.
Cute!!!
So sweet all lined up like little toy soldiers!
These gift sets were so much fun to make … but even more fun to GIVE during this season of giving!

Posted at 23:36h, 29 DecemberOMGosh, Debbie! You are amazingly creative! Not only did you create that gorgeous bag, you went and decorated each treat inside, too! Wonder how many ladies never “unwrap” anything in the bag just so they can keep the project intact? I don’t think I would want to ever take it apart! 🙂
