12 Aug So Sweet of You – TKJ #133!
For today’s ‘Sew So-Simple’ challenge at The Kraft Journal, I created a little quilt out of paper — and it was sew so-simple! I followed a pattern found on the internet, cutting little squares from patterned paper and card stock and then cutting the squares into half square triangles to create the pattern. I began with a base of Buff Ivory Card Stock onto which I added a couple layers of colored card stock. I popped the quilt pattern layer up with dimensionals and added two Tiny Wooden Clothespins to ‘hang’ the quilt on.
Next I created a nosegay full of yumminess by adding a bow made with Vintage Winter White seam binding, couple of Antique Stick Pins, a rosette made from Natural Twill Tape, leaves cut from Burlap and a sentiment tag stamped with the So Sweet of You stamp set and backed with a piece of Brown Kraft Card Stock.
Please be sure to pop on over to The Kraft Journal blog to check out the amazing projects created by the rest of the teamies this week, and then I hope you’ll have time to play along with our Sew So-Simple challenge for a chance to win an awesome prize package from The Kraft Outlet Shop!
