Hello crafty friends -- welcome to day #1 of the October 2018 *NEW* product release here at Paper Sweeties! For today's sneak peek projects, I am sharing a layout I created using some of the new goodies which will be live in the boutique TOMORROW -- (Click on the photos for larger views!)
Took a break from the renovations at our B&B last January to grab lunch with our kiddos in Pinehurst! I remember it being an exceptionally nice day in January (no jackets needed) ... and just a few days after we had a snow event in our area - which doesn't happen that often in the south!! I used our *NEW*I'm nuts about you and Happy fall y'all stamp sets to dress Jake & Emma ... and Abigail is dressed using our ever popular Tackle life one cup at a time (all product links below)!

The mixy-matchy patterned papers give it a warm, comfortable and homespun feeling ... perfect to send off to that special friend this season to let them know how grateful you are to have them in your life!

So, without further ado, please take a peek at this lovely card designed by Tina Milbourn using the Give Thanks stamp set and Oatmeal Cream seam binding …
… so ADORABLE! What a {sweet} scene Tina has created ... I'm smitten with those die cut trees and 3-D leaves! Mr. Squirrel and the sentiment tag add the perfect finishing touches to this wonderful card! For today's 'Harvest Time' challenge at The Kraft Journal, I began with a base of Buff Ivory Cardstock followed by a layer of Lunch Bag Kraft Cardstock onto which I layered several patterned papers and a strip of Gaffner Tape. I tied a delicious bow around the patterned paper layer using a length of Natural Burlap Ribbon. Next I cut a sweet pumpkin shape from Corrugated Kraft Paper, white washed it with cream paint and adhered it to the front of the card. I found the perfect stem in my backyard and added it to the top of the pumpkin and then created 'leaves' using Bright Green Hemp Cording.
I created a sentiment tag using a tag from the Designer's Special Grungy Prim Tags Assortment onto which I stamped a sentiment from the Give Thanks stamp set and then secured it to the pumpkin using a Metal Hinge Clip. Last, I added a few cream buttons to the bottom of the card to add to the homespun feeling I attempted to create!

Happy Friday crafty friends - TGIF! I hope you have wonderful plans for the weekend ... and I hope some of those plans involve something a little bit crafty and fun!
I started the weekend off a little early by having my sweet friend, Audrey, over for coffee today! We visited, chit chatted, giggled and caught up! Audrey is just the sweetest gal ever and uber talented too ... look at this happy little fella she made just for me! She remembered that I don't decorate very much with orange pumpkins and really like the white ones ... so she made this little sweetie especially for me -- he's so adorable and yummy -- like a smiling autumn marshmallow! I added him to an antique scale that I have a berry garland and artichokes in ... he looks like he was made to live here!
Thank you, Miss Audrey! I enjoyed our visit today so very much!
I loved the mixy-matchy stamped sentiments and sweet pumpkin on Melissa's card, so I stamped several sentiments and accessory images on my card ... and then added tiny punched hearts that I punched from a snipett of X-Small Grungy Prim Tag.
