Debbie TKJ #145 (2) For today’s ‘Harvest Time’ challenge at The Kraft Journal, I began with a base of Buff Ivory Cardstock followed by a layer of Lunch Bag Kraft Cardstock onto which I layered several patterned papers and a strip of Gaffner Tape.  I tied a delicious bow around the patterned paper layer using a length of Natural Burlap Ribbon.  Next I cut a sweet pumpkin shape from Corrugated Kraft Paper, white washed it with cream paint and adhered it to the front of the card.  I found the perfect stem in my backyard and added it to the top of the pumpkin and then created ‘leaves’ using Bright Green Hemp Cording.

I created a sentiment tag using a tag from the  Designer’s Special Grungy Prim Tags Assortment onto which I stamped a sentiment from the Give Thanks stamp set and then secured it to the pumpkin using a Metal Hinge Clip.  Last, I added a few cream buttons to the bottom of the card to add to the homespun feeling I attempted to create!
