TSTR #222

Hi crafty friends and welcome to The Shabby Tea Room #222 – ‘Lavender & Lace’!  This week we are to be inspired by the colors in the photo and include lace and/or a doilie and distressing!

Debbie TSTR #222 (1)

The Tea Room challenge is sponsored by The Cutting Cafe this week and I got to create with the versatile Tulip Card Set!  I created a shaker card — I {heart} shaker cards … they are so much fun to make, give and receive!!

Debbie TSTR #222 (3)

I inked the edges of my card to create a time-worn look and added some rouched lace trim and a Grape Seam Binding bow!  The sentiment was stamped using the Wagon Add-on: bloom & grow and Banner Wishes stamp sets from Paper Sweeties!

Debbie TSTR #222 (2)

If you haven’t made a shaker card yet, give one a try … you’ll be glad you did!!  There are SIXTEEN different colors of flower-shaped, iridescent sequins available in the Paper Sweeties boutique … they are so pretty — I’m ADDICTED to them!!

Be sure to visit The Shabby Tea Room to check out the amazing inspiration projects created by the rest of the Shabby Girls this week, and then I hope you’ll have time to join in with the fun!

Thanks for stopping by today!  Hugs – xoxo

  1. Debbie,
This is really so pretty, the tulip is perfect. It is so delightful for me to see such creative art. It inspires me ( and others) and I thank you for sharing your talents with us today.
