I have some *exciting news* to share today! Paper Sweeties was invited to join in on the fun with today’s DESIGNERS BLOG HOP celebration over at The House of Cards — hosted by the oh-so talented, Mynnette Kitchen! Look at the gorgeous inspiration photo Mynn provided for us to create with … LOVE!!! So, without further ado — let’s begin the FUN … ready, set, GO!

HOC

Hi, all!  It’s time for an end of the term blog hop over at House of Cards and we have a super fun challenge AND tons of great prize opportunities for those of you who join in the fun!!!  You should have arrived here from Rocky’s blog.  If you haven’t, please start all the way back at the House of Cards hop post and follow the list found in the body of the hop post!

I took inspiration from the white shabby shutter and pretty flowers from the inspiration photo!  I die cut a window, shutters and flower box, slipped a piece of sky blue cardstock behind the window to create the ‘sky’ and added a vintage lace valance!  The banner was stamped using the Wagon Add-on: bloom & grow stamp set and then die cut using the Sweeties Wagon Sweet Cuts set!

I stamped several flowers from the Wagon Add-on: bloom & grow set, die cut them using the Sweeties Wagon Sweet Cuts die, colored them with glitter markers, added candy dots to the centers of the flowers and then ‘planted’ them in the window box!  To finish this bright and cheery card off, I added several Frosting Sequins for a pop of BLING!
