24 Mar Hello Spring – TKJ #164
For this week’s ‘Color Challenge’ at The Kraft Journal, I created a spring theme card full of dots – inspired by the colors and bubbles from the inspiration photo!
I began with a base of Buff Ivory Cardstock onto which I layered a piece of Kraft & Black Patterned Paper. Next I created an Easter egg shape made using five layers of Washi Tape that correspond with the colors from the photo … LOVE! I wound a piece of Bright Green Hemp Cording around the middle of the egg and then tied a Round Metal Edge Grungy Prim Tag onto the Hemp Cording which was stamped with a ‘spring’ sentiment and then I added some pretty iridescent Tuti-Fruti Sequins!
To finish my card, I stamped a sentiment banner image onto Buff Ivory Cardstock using the Wagon Add-on: bloom & grow stamp set, cut it out and adhered it to the base of the card.
Please be sure to visit The Kraft Journal to be inspired by the rest of the teamies projects the week, and then I hope you’ll have time to play along for a chance to win an awesome prize package from The Kraft Outlet Shop!
Thanks for stopping by today! Hugs – xoxo
