Hi ya’ sweeties! I’m here today to share a little something I whipped up for the current challenge at The Shabby Tea Room – ‘Summer Fun’! We’re to make a card/project inspired by the photo using at least three colors from the picture and include ONE OR MORE of these: vellum/acetate, polka dots, ribbon … FUN!
I created a FUN shaker card using the Balloon Shaped Card file from The Cutting Cafe – this week’s Tea Room sponsor!
I added pretty sequins and paper punched stars inside the balloon and stamped the sentiment using the ConGRADulations stamp set before I sealed the edges with foam tape.
I stamped another coordinating sentiment in the lower left corner using the So Sweet of You stamp set and then tied a length of Robin Egg Baker’s Twine onto the base of the balloon.
I used acetate, ribbon and polka dots + three colors from the photo! What do you think???
Be sure to visit the Tea Room to check out the amazing creations by the other Shabby Girls, and then I hope you’ll have time to play along with the ‘Summer Fun’ challenge for a chance to win an awesome prize package and Guest Designer spot in the Tea Room!
Thanks for stopping by today! Hugs – xoxo
