Photo inspiration #207

Welcome to The Shabby Tea Room #207 – ‘Wishy Washy’!  This week we are asked to use Washi Tape on our projects … YUM!  I’m addicted to Washi Tape!!

Debbie TSTR #207 (2)

The Tea Room sponsor this week is Digital Papers by Janet Etsy and I was lucky enough to be able to use the Chic Flower Strips file on my little card today — this set has the most beautiful floral strips that look like strips of Washi Tape — love!!  I stamped the blossoming tree, birdhouse and sweet little birdies using the Welcome Spring stamp set and then added some Raspberry Sequins for the blooms and finished things off with a couple of winds around my card using some yummy Raspberry Baker’s Twine … from Paper Sweeties!

I tried to take a photo sideways and into the sunlight to show you the brilliance and sparkle of the images colored with glitter markers … so, so pretty IRL … the photos don’t do this little sparkler justice!  I {heart} my glitter markers!!

I added a couple of strips of delicious Washi Tape, a wooden button and some pretty lace trim to complete my design!

Please visit The Shabby Tea Room to be inspired by the other Shabby Girls’ creations this week and then we hope you’ll have time to give our ‘Wishy Washi’ challenge a try for a chance to win some goodness from Janet’s beautiful shop!

Thanks for stopping by today!  Hugs – xoxo

  1. hi Debbie.
Your card is really very beautiful.
I have joined in today with the ‘Shabby Tea Room challenge. I hope that is ok.
I made a design this morning and when I discovered your blog, I re-arranged my design and added some faux washi tape, so thought it will be just fine. Hope you agree.
    Kindest regards
    Grove Walker
