TSTR #226

Welcome to my blog today, crafty friends!  I’m sharing a little something I created for this week’s new challenge at The Shabby Tea Room – ‘Polka Dot Love’!

Debbie TSTR #226 (2)

I die cut the banner twice – once in white and once in pink – using the Sweeties Wagon Sweet Cuts die set and then strung it at the top of the card base.  Next I stamped the watering can and polka dotted boots from the Showering You With Love stamp set and then die cut them using the coordinating Showering You With Love Sweet Cuts die set.  I colored them with a pink marker and then added glitter to the polka dots.  I glued a bouquet of paper flowers inside the watering can and then attached the can, boots and a glittered chipboard heart to the base of the card.

I stamped the little banner using the Banner Wishes and Splish Splash stamp sets and then adhered it to the glittered heart.  Last, I added a couple of beautiful, flower-shaped iridescent Robin Egg Sequins for a little more sparkle and shine: L-O-V-E!!

I’m smitten with all the pink and sparkle on this card … how about you??  Please be sure to visit The Shabby Tea Room to be inspired by the other Shabby Girls’ beautiful creations this week … and then play along for a chance to win a $20 shopping spree to the Paper Sweeties boutique!

Thanks for stopping by today!  Hugs – xoxo
