VOSP 2013 ad 2 aWelcome to day two of the Visions of Sugarplums Designer’s Hop!

papersweeties-debbie-12-4-13(2)For today’s project, I created a wreath out of handmade rolled paper flowers inserting pearls in the middle of each and the lightly glittering each flower to add sparkle and shine!

papersweeties-debbie-12-4-13(3)I stamped a sentiment banner using the Homespun Holidays stamp set and then created a sweet nosegay using Cake Crumbs seam binding, a Red & White Chenille Candy Cane, a couple of Rusty Jingle Bells, a button and twine!

papersweeties-debbie-12-4-13(1)The patterned papers are October Afternoon – Make it Merry along with a snipett of red/white polka dotted Washi tape from The Kraft Journal – yum!

*NEW* in December stamps & dies LIVE in the shop now!

  1. Too cute, thanks for sharing! I will be attempting to make this card! Wish me luck! Hugs and kisses!

  2. Debbie,
The glistening rolled flowers with the pearl centres on the green and white gingham is extremely lovely. Wreathes are usually green, and here outdoors, ( hence the rusty bells) where there is always piles of white snow glistening. How clever you are. The candy cane puts such a lovely dollop of red. I could go on ad infinitum but we will save some for next time. Again you are one of the artists I admire immensely. Thank you for posting with us.
    Blessings,
    Carole
