13 Jan Warm Winter Wishes – TKJ #154
We have a pretty color challenge this week at The Kraft Journal! I love these colors together!!
I began with a base of Smoky Slate followed by a piece of Buff Ivory Cardstock. Next I layered some pretty patterned paper and a strip of Pink & White Polka Dot Washi Tape. I machine zig-zag stitched around the edges. Next step was to add a pretty white glittered chipboard snowflake, some silver jingle bells tied on with Pastel Hemp Cording and then a pretty pink stripe grosgrain bow.
To create Mr. Frosty, I added white doilie stickers to the middles of 3 Bottle Caps and adhered them onto the base of my card. I added black pearls for eyes & buttons and tied on a pink grosgrain scarf. The hat was created using a snipett of Blackboard Tag and then a soft yellow paper bloom was adhered. A Pink & White Chenille Candy Cane was added and then a sentiment tag was created using a piece of White Pearlized Decorative Tag and stamped with the Warm Winter Wishes set from Paper Sweeties!
Please be sure to visit The Kraft Journal challenge blog to check out the beautiful inspiration projects from the rest of the teamies this week … and then I hope you’ll be inspired and play along with this week’s color challenge for a chance to win some goodness from The Kraft Outlet Shop!
