You Are The Most Wonderful – TSTR #213

TSTR #213

Hello crafty friends!  I’m popping in today to share a project I made for this week’s challenge at The Shabby Tea Room #213 – ‘Floral Fantasy’!  We are looking for the colors from the inspiration photo + flowers and ribbon/lace … easy peesy, right??!!??

Debbie TSTR #213 (2)

I began with a base of lucky limeade cardstock onto which I layered some pretty patterned paper from Crate.  Next I stamped a sentiment from the You Are The Most Wonderful set on the top left of the card – directly onto the vanilla, lace pattern paper.  I added a paper doilie and a lovely bow tied using some pink chevron twill tape.

Debbie TSTR #213 (3)

I adhered a couple of Cotton Candy iridescent sequins and some beautiful paper blooms – using a Green Apple Straw for the ‘leaves’.  Last, I stamped ‘mother’ onto a little tag using the You Are The Most Wonderful set again and tied it onto the nosegay of flowers using Cotton Candy Baker’s Twine.

I made this card for my sweet mother-in-law … it’s her birthday this month.  I hope she likes it!

Paper Sweeties is sponsoring the Tea Room challenge this week, so I hope you’ll have some time this week to play along with our ‘Floral Fantasy’ challenge for a chance to win a shopping spree in the boutique!
