I love, love … LOVE a sketch challenge!  Sketches are such a nice starting point to help kick start your creative mojo!  I was inspired by this clean and simple sketch today to create something pretty and fun …

… I used pretty aqua and pink papers from Core’dinations — embossed them, sanded them and adhered them to white cardstock so they would pop against the pretty floral patterned paper in the background of my card.

I stamped the sentiment using the You Are The Most Wonderful set from Paper Sweeties and then added a pretty fabric bloom and some Pink Bubblegum seam binding and sequins to complete my design.

I was inspired by these current challenges:  Core’dinations Sketch Challenge – sketch; Really Reasonable Ribbons #87 – love & ribbon;  7 Kids College Fund #91 – anything goes; Cupcake Inspirations #244 – inspo pic/colors;  Word Art Wednesday #115 – anything; Paper Issues – just my type/love;  Ribbon Carousel #89 – love, birthday, chicken soup; Simon Says Stamp – embossing; Dynamic Duos #86 – aqua & pink

  1. Great take on the sketch and great use of embossing. Thanks so much for playing along with the Emboss It Challenge over at the Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge Blog this week!
