Hello crafty friends and welcome to my blog today!  I’m popping in to share a little something sweet I created for the latest challenge at The Card Concept!

I created a stair-step card using a Sizzix die and lots of mixy-matchy yellow patterned papers!  I stamped Abigail and then die cut her using the coordinating Abigail Sweet Cuts die.  Next I stamped the cap, gown, tassel, diploma and hood using the ConGRADulations stamp set, fussy cut them and paper pieced the outfit onto Miss Abigail!  The shoes were stamped using the Jelly Bean Time set and colored with a black marker.

I die cut three banners and then stamped the sentiments on them using the ConGRADulations stamp set.  The banners were attached to the paper pieced heart shapes.  To finish my card, I added some Cookie Dough Baker’s Twine to the diploma and three Marshmallow Sequins for a little bit of sparkle!

My niece recently graduated from High School and we will be visiting with them this weekend while attending the Stampfest show in Lakeland, FL — I can’t wait to give this card to Kylie — I LOVE how it turned out and I hope she likes it too!  I hope you’ll have time this week to play along with our pretty color challenge at The Card Concept!

Hugs – xoxo
