The wait is over -- it's a NEW year and we have a darling NEW card kit for you to enjoy this month! The four projects included in our January kit have a fun winter-inspired theme with plenty of chubby little snowmen, warm mitten, snowflakes and cute Miss Abigail all bundled up for a chilly winter day!
The first card is clean and simple with a crisp white and cool blue color palette. Splashes of blush and kraft add a little warmth to this chilly=theme card! All those snowflakes make me smile ... I love them in craft projects but not IRL! We used Thanks Snow Much, Snowflakes Sequins and Cupcake Sprinkles Sequins to complete this cutie patootie!
The next project is a wintery tag - perfect to attach to a thank you gift or sweet treat!
I love the woodgrain embossing on the tag base ... and Mr. Frosty is one of my favorite stamps! We used Snow Friends, Snow Friends Sweet Cuts, Thanks Snow Much, Blueberry Seam Binding, Snowflakes Sequins and Marshmallow Sequins to whip up this fun tag!
The next project is a pretty card with a yummy gingham mitten complete with a felt cuff and satin flower - love the amazing texture and mix of patterns & colors!
This card was also created for the new challenge at The Card Concept -- I was inspired by the MITTENS and WARM WINTER theme!
The final card in this month's kit is a little gem with some fun paper piecing elements!
Abigail couldn't be any cuter dressed in her winter coat, hat, mittens, leggins and boots -- love the pink fur trim on her clothes ... she is so adorable pulling her little wagon filled with snowballs!
Have you grabbed one of our *NEW* digital planners yet? These also can be purchased one month at a time (complete with a second printable page to add notes, to-do list and birthday reminders) or snag the entire year and save $4! The calendars are pre-loaded with important dates, holidays and Paper Sweeties events and shows for 2016 - WOW!

Satin flowers were added for ornaments, a kraft cardstock pot was embossed and embellished with a snipett of lace and a snow drift was die cut from white glitter paper! Last, I added a sweet sentiment banner to complete my design!

Hello crafty friends! So happy you stopped by my blog today to take a peek at the project I created for the latest challenge at The Card Concept! We have a beautiful color inspiration board this week!
I die cut the sweet little mittens three times -- once with cream cardstock for the base, once with pink and cream gingham patterned paper and once with cream felt. I paper pieced all the layers together and then added die cut holly leaves cut from glitter paper, burgundy paper flowers and some twine.
I stamped the sentiment and then added a stamped and die cut present - complete with espresso glittered hearts!
Machine zig-zag stitching was added around the edges of the card to complete my design!
I hope you'll have time to join in with all the fun! Thanks for visiting!!
Hello crafty friends! Welcome to my blog today -- I'm popping in to share a little something I created for the newest challenge at The Card Concept!
In true shabby chic fashion, I began with a base of kraft and inked the edges with cream paint to create a time-worn look! I added a layer of gingham patterned paper - machine stitched around the edges to secure it to the base. I hand cut a pumpkin using white cardstock, embossed it with a damask folder and then inked over the embossing with cream paint. I die cut leaves from kraft cardstock using the Bee Happy Sweet Cuts set.
To create the nosegay, I added a stem from my yard, a Prima paper flower, some white button twine and two crystal trinket pins. Last, I stamped the heart and sentiment using the Little Wishes stamp set and then die cut using the coordinating Beautiful Little Wishes Sweet Cuts die, tied it onto the nosegay and added some Marshmallow Sequins for some sparkle and shine!
I hope you'll have time to share a little something with us this week at The Card Concept -- I'm smitten with this week's gorgeous inspiration board!!

Hello crafty friends and welcome to my blog today! I'm popping in to share a little something sweet I created for the latest challenge at The Card Concept!
I created a stair-step card using a Sizzix die and lots of mixy-matchy yellow patterned papers! I stamped Abigail and then die cut her using the coordinating Abigail Sweet Cuts die. Next I stamped the cap, gown, tassel, diploma and hood using the ConGRADulations stamp set, fussy cut them and paper pieced the outfit onto Miss Abigail! The shoes were stamped using the Jelly Bean Time set and colored with a black marker.
I die cut three banners and then stamped the sentiments on them using the ConGRADulations stamp set. The banners were attached to the paper pieced heart shapes. To finish my card, I added some Cookie Dough Baker's Twine to the diploma and three Marshmallow Sequins for a little bit of sparkle!
My niece recently graduated from High School and we will be visiting with them this weekend while attending the Stampfest show in Lakeland, FL -- I can't wait to give this card to Kylie -- I LOVE how it turned out and I hope she likes it too! I hope you'll have time this week to play along with our pretty color challenge at The Card Concept!
