Hello crafty friends! I’m sooooo excited to be popping in to share a little something {sweet} I created for the Fall edition of the Coffee Lover’s Blog Hop! I’m addicted to coffee — it’s still warm in my little neck of the woods, so my drink of choice is an iced Starbucks Skinny Vanilla Latte!
I’m delighted to be one of the sponsors for the hop … one lucky winner will receive a $25 shopping spree in the Paper Sweeties boutique!
We’re also offering a 20% discount coupon on any order $25 or more (before tax/shipping) redeemable today through October 2nd –> coupon code: coffee25!
Paper Sweeties will be offering a SUPER SPONSOR prize for the hop … and we will also be giving away a Homemade With Love stamp set to one lucky COMMENTOR … leave us a comment on THIS POST for a chance to win! We will announce the winner on October 3rd, so bookmark/follow our site so you can keep up to date with all the creativity, inspiration, new product releases and winners! I had so much fun creating this yummy card with a nod toward the upcoming holidays! I die cut the mug using aqua glitter paper, cut a slit at the top and inserted a stamped peppermint stick – sugared with clear wink of stella!
The cupcake was stamped twice — once on white cardstock and once again on aqua polka dotted patterned paper. I die cut the cupcake, paper pieced the holly leaves, added sequins for the berries, colored the cake and sugared the frosting with delicious glitter! ‘JOY’ was stamped, gingham ribbon and a paper doilie were added for some homespun charm.
I created a gift to match my card — the mitten was created from a kitchen hand towel. A fabric ruffle, pom-pom trim and buttons were added to the cuff of the mitten.
I hot glued a pretty aqua paper flower, pink leaves, a sweet chenille candy cane, jingle bells tied on with baker’s twine and a sentiment tag!
Yummy treats were added inside my sweet mitten — I stamped another cupcake, die cut it and repeated the same decorating process as above. I decorated a Peppermint Bark tea bag with a felt doilie, sentiment tag and cute little aqua wooden clothespin. Both were adhered to aqua Paper Straws and then inserted inside the mitten which was stuffed with white paper crinkle!
This is my all-time favorite color palette to create with — aqua, pink and red — YUM! I’m smitten with this adorable holiday gift set … what do you think??
I used these goodies from the Paper Sweeties boutique to make these projects:
The holidays will be here before we know it … I’m happy I have one gift checked off my list! My favorite thing to give to family and friends during the holidays is a handmade from the heart gift — made with love! I hope you’ll have time to share a little something yummy and sweet for the Fall Coffee Lover’s Blog Hop — lots of fabulous sponsors who have generously donated wonderful prizes, amazing inspiration from so many talented paper crafters … and LOADS OF FUN!
