Hello crafty peeps!  Welcome to my blog — today I’m sharing a little something I recently made for the latest edition of The Card Concept!

I have a {sweet} friend who had surgery last week, so I made her this get well card featuring Emma and her little wagon full of springtime blooms!

I stamped Emma onto vanilla cardstock, die cut Emma and colored her hair with Prismacolor Pencils and Gamsol.  I added rosey cheeks using chalks.  Emma’s nurse outfit was stamped on white cardstock, fussy cut and then paper pieced to little Emma!  The wagon was stamped twice – once on white cardstock and once again on gingham patterned paper – die cut, paper pieced and then the blooms were die cut, added to the wagon and sequins were added to the centers for a little pop of sparkle!  Last, the sentiment was stamped and several additional embellishments were added to finish off this fun little get well card.
