14 Dec Hot cocoa anyone?
My drink of choice this time of year is hot cocoa — and in particular, Ghirardelli Peppermint Hot Cocoa 🙂 (CLICK on the photos for up close views)
I made a simple pocket out of patterned paper …
… wrapped a red satin ribbon around the cocoa packet and threaded it through a topper I made for the patterned paper pocket!
I tied on a die cut tag in a present shape and stamped the ‘to’ and ‘from’.
The coordinating card was inspired by Jill’s tag that she created for the 25 Days of Christmas with Paper Sweeties!
I used the window die cut for the background, embossed it with the cutest trees and stars, added a scalloped circle border die cut for the ‘shelf’ and had fun added ‘whipped cream’, a candy cane and gingerbread cookie to this delicious beverage!
We made these this month at all of my card classes and the girls really enjoyed walking away with a gift to go that was quick, easy and inexpensive!
I whipped up a couple different ones with different patterned paper pockets that I can give to family and friends during the holiday season!
Use these goodies from Paper Sweeties to recreate these sweet gift sets:
And I thought today was the perfect day to share as it is National Hot Cocoa Day – how fun!
I’m sharing this for the on-going 2016 Winter Coffee Lovers’ Blog Hop too – so much fabulous inspiration! You can view my original project HERE!
Don’t forget to hop with us each day December 1st through 25th for the 25 Days of Christmas with Paper Sweeties where we are sharing inspiration projects all 25 days, have special guest designers joining us and have DAILY DEALS for tremendous savings each and every day in December!!
And, last but certainly NOT least, the inspiration board for our December challenge is a gorgeous one … our challenges are anything goes and you can share with us here on the blog OR in our new Facebook Group Challenge Album!
I hope I helped spark your holiday creativity today! Enjoy this magical time of the year!!
