Hello crafty friends!  Welcome to my blog today — I’m popping in to share a little something I created for the newest challenge at The Card Concept!

In true shabby chic fashion, I began with a base of kraft and inked the edges with cream paint to create a time-worn look!  I added a layer of gingham patterned paper – machine stitched around the edges to secure it to the base.  I hand cut a pumpkin using white cardstock, embossed it with a damask folder and then inked over the embossing with cream paint.  I die cut leaves from kraft cardstock using the Bee Happy Sweet Cuts set.

To create the nosegay, I added a stem from my yard, a Prima paper flower, some white button twine and two crystal trinket pins.  Last, I stamped the heart and sentiment using the Little Wishes stamp set and then die cut using the coordinating Beautiful Little Wishes Sweet Cuts die, tied it onto the nosegay and added some Marshmallow Sequins for some sparkle and shine!

I hope you’ll have time to share a little something with us this week at The Card Concept — I’m smitten with this week’s gorgeous inspiration board!!
