Paper Sweeties 4th Birthday Celebration!

Thanks for joining our party today!  We've been celebrating our 4th anniversary all month long in August and today we have a special treat ... a DESIGNERS' BLOG HOP featuring amazing projects created by current and past Design Team Contributors and special Guest Designers!  Without further ado, let's get this party started ...

I created a bright and cheery card with a party theme using our soon-to-be released Window and Window Elements Sweet Cuts sets!  I did cut the banner using the Sweeties Wagon Sweet Cuts die set and then added glitter stickers to spell out p-a-r-t-y!

I created a fun little window scene using the *new* window dies along with the window treatment from Sweeties Stand, the table from I'm Having a Tea Party and the cake & present from Planner Series: Celebrate!

A little sparkle and bling was added using some Watermelon and Marshmallow Sequins!

Now, continue the hop to help spark your creativity:

Wish BIG!

Hello sweeties!  I hope you're having a perfectly wonderful and relaxing day and getting some crafty time in too!!  We had a wonderful day yesterday for the 4th of July ... R&R, fun in the sun, splish-splashing in the water, BBQ with yummy corn-on-the-cob and watermelon and fireworks in the evening -- a perfect day!

papersweeties-july5(2)I am sharing a card today that I whipped up for a couple of sweet events going on today in blogland!  I was turned onto the {sweetest} Martha Stewart clay mold by my friend, Lori, last week and had to run to the craft store to get one to play with!  The cupcake was made using air clay ... just SO MUCH fun to play with!  I glittered the frosting to make it even more yummy and added a teeny cherry on the top!

papersweeties-july5(3)I used the You Make Me Smile and So Sweet of You stamp sets from Paper Sweeties {two of my favorites!} for all the stamped sentiments, added a beautiful twill striped bow from The Ribbon Reel and a snipett of lime green polka dot washi tape ... I think this card says 'Have a Happy Birthday' ... how about you?

papersweeties-july5(1)My sweet and dear friend, Tina, is hosting a Birthday theme challenge on her blog today to celebrate her second blog-o-versary, and I couldn't resist playing along -- I love making fun birthday cards!  Hop on over to check Tina's challenge out ... I hope you'll have time to play along too!

4th of July *SALE* continues through Sunday at Paper Sweeties ... click HERE for details!

Happy Friday my friends!

Challenges I was inspired by:  DeNami Stamp Addict - 2nd blog-o-versary; Fusion #13 - Jackie's sketch; Paper Issues - Hey good lookin', what's cookin'; Ribbon Carousel #83 - heritage, pride or celebrations; Catered Crop - shapes, dies, punches; CASE Study #148 - muse (pink and sentiment)

Our Little Prince … Seize The Birthday week #2!!

Hi crafty friends!  I’m popping in today to share the second card I created for the current challenge over at the Seize The Birthday challenge blog!  The sweet ladies at Seize The Birthday asked if I would sponsor their challenges for the first two weeks in April and guest design too!  Of course, I said yes to both!

This week’s edition of the Seize the Birthday challenge is to create a masculine card based on the sketch provided — easy peesy, right??!!  I love how this turned out - very CAS and fun!  I turned the sketch on it's side!

I used the You're My Prince Charming and Alphas-Upper stamp sets from Paper Sweeties to create this little boy birthday card.

Please be sure to pop on over and take a peek at this week’s sketch at Seize the Birthday … and play along for your chance to win a gift certificate to the Paper Sweeties shoppe!

"What an awesome hop… can’t wait to see everyone’s creations… and learn a thing or two…Thanks for the chance… your creations are adorable…morentin1326"

Hello friends and Happy Easter!!  I hope you're enjoying a beautiful day with your family and friends!  I am blessed to have my two sons home today from college, so hubby and I are enjoying sharing the day with them!  The bunny paid us a little visit and we have some yummy food planned for our holiday meals today!  I love spring -- how about you?

Homespun Elegance Prince Blog Hop

I'm excited to pop in today to share a couple of projects I recently created for a Designer's Hop I was invited to participate in by a sweet stampy friend of mine!  Jessica, from Homespun Elegance, just celebrated the 2nd birthday of her little son, Mason, so in honor of this special occasion, she organized a designer's hop with a few crafty ladies that she knows!  The hop begins today and runs through Tuesday, April 2nd.  Each day a different group of designers will be sharing projects they made that go with a birthday, boy and celebration theme ... how FUN!

So, without further ado ... let's get this party started!  Here's my little boy celebration set ... (click on the photos to see larger images of each project)

This set was just too much fun to create ... so bright, cheery, fun and whimsical!

I used Jake, Hippity Hoppity, You're My Prince Charming and Banner Wishes to create the card!

The fun banners were created using the Banner Wishes, You're Invited, You Make Me Smile and You're My Hero stamp sets!

The fun polka dot and chevron pattern flair pieces were a gift I recently received from my stampy friend, Joscelyn -- they're from her shop: Bossy Joscie!

YUM!!!  These were so simple to make using chipboard pieces, stickers, flair and sentiment stamped banners ... what a quick and fun way to create pretty party favors and decorations for your next event!

So, what do you think of my little boy party set?  This can very easily be made into a little princess party by changing the colors and using either Abigail, Emma or Sophie -- dressing them up in a pretty party dress for your special event!

Be sure to hop on over and check out the fun projects created by the rest of the designers on today's hop schedule:
