Hi crafty friends and welcome to the 2021 National Coffee Day Blog Hop extravaganza – organized by the Coffee Loving Cardmakers teamies! Be sure to read to the end of this post to see how you can be eligible to win the second prize package Paper Sweeties has donated on behalf of this FUN hop!
I had SO MUCH FUN creating this coffee inspired card! (All products used are linked below). First I stamped sweet Abigail on off-white cardstock, colored her hair using a watercolor pencil and Gamsol to blend, added rosey cheeks using blush and a Q-tip and then die cut her body. Next I stamped the outfit twice – once on white cardstock and again on patterned paper. Then I stamped the bow and coffee cup. I fussy cut all pieces and then paper pieced everything onto the Abigail doll body.
To make the background, I used Distress Ink and the Coffee Cups stencil from Paper Sweeties. Next, I stamped the cute sentiment using black ink and then added Abigail popped up with foam dots. I cut slits into her hands so she could hold the stamped coffee cup and cute scissors sticker!

Super cute paper piecing. I had a dress like this when I was about 13. I grew up in the ’70’s 🙂 It’s so difficult to choose a favorite in your shop. I love the Sweetie Girls and their boutique because I loved paper dolls. Thanks for being a sponsor!
This card reminds me of the paperdolls that I used to play with when I was a girl. Now my own daughter’s play with some of the old sets that I so carefully saved! I like the Life Begins After coffee set.
