Paper Sweeties Inspiration #14:

papersweeties-inspiration#14I found my inspiration in the theme of this month's board ... the sweet little girl wearing a pink cape and watching the snow fall outside her window ... so adorable!

papersweeties-debbie#14(2)So, I pulled out some of my favorite dies and cut a sparkly tree and window to re-create this precious winter scene!  I added a snipett of lace trim for the window valance and some delicious marshmallow sequins from my sweet friend, Paulina's, Pretty Pink Posh Etsy Shop!

papersweeties-debbie#14(3)I die cut a couple of snow drifts using the *brand new* Thanks Snow Much Sweet Cuts die set -- RELEASED TODAY in the shop -- and adhered them to the base of my card using dimensionals in between to add depth.

papersweeties-debbie#14(1)I stamped sweet little Emma onto cream cardstock and then die cut her using the Emma Sweet Cuts die.  Next, I stamped the cape from the Warm Winter Wishes set onto pink patterned paper, cut it out and dressed Emma in it!  Last, I stamped the sentiment onto a die cut banner using the Let It Snow stamp set and adhered it to the top of my card!

Please be sure to visit the other Sweeties Teamies' blogs to be INSPIRED by their creative and beautiful projects ... and then we hope you'll have time this month to play along with the Paper Sweeties Inspiration Challenge #14 for a chance to win some goodies and guest design with us next month!

Bloom Where You Are Planted … Fusion #4!

Challenge #4Hello crafty friends!  I have some fun news to share with you all today ... I was asked by my friend, Lesley Croghan, to guest design with the ladies over at Fusion for the #4 challenge!  For my assignment, I was asked to use the sketch and photo inspiration to come up with a {fusion} card -- too fun!

papersweeties-apr26(2)I used the Make Today Beautiful stamp set from Paper Sweeties to create the background patterned paper stamping two flower images in four different colors!  Next, I adhered a sentiment stamped using the same set and adhered it to a piece of pumpkin cardstock for a pop of color!  Last I adhered a pretty blue paper bloom to pick up the blooms in the stamped background piece and finished it off with a couple of green glittered leaves!

papersweeties-apr26(1)Please pop on over to the Fusion blog to check out the lovely creations by the design team girls, and then I hope you'll give this neat challenge a try ... will you use just the sketch -- just the photo -- or combine both to create FUSION??!!??

Hugs!

Let it SNOW … in April?

Hello all ... I  hope you're having a perfectly wonderful spring day!  It's beautiful here - temps in the 80's, gorgeous blue sky, windows open, birds chirping -- LOVE!

I wanted to pop in quick to share a little something I recently created for my April GDT spot over at Flourishes.  Although this card was created using 90% items from the Flourishes shop, I did manage to stamp the alpha sentiment using the Paper Sweeties Fancy Monograms stamp set ... I adore this pretty set -- so versatile -- you can use it on ANY project!

Debbie-FlourishGDT-Apr9(1)Thanks for stopping by today!  Be sure to scroll down to see Miriam's sweet cards created for today's GUEST DESIGNER hop too!!
