Paper Sweeties | 25 Days of Christmas Tags HOP!

Welcome crafty friends!  I'm excited to be popping in today to share a tag I created especially for the 2017 edition of the 25 Days of Christmas Tags Blog Hop hosted by Tracey McNeely!

I can hardly believe that winter is nipping at our heels ... it seems like it was just the beginning of summer!  This whimsical and colorful tag was so much fun to create -- I love the untraditional color palette!

This sweet little snowman always makes me smile ... and I love the die cut snow drift created using white glitter paper - so yummy!

Products I used from the Paper Sweeties boutique to create this tag are as follows:

And, I am *sneak peeking* a NEW set that will be released on the 15th ... the #holiday sentiment is from our NEW 'Meet me under the Mistletoe' stamp set!

This bright and cheery little gift bag and tag would be so much fun to give or receive this winter ... fill with hot cocoa, smores, candy, a gift certificate, tea bags, cookies, etc!

Photo Inspiration #195And now, I'd like to share my projects created for this week's new challenge at The Shabby Tea Room - 'Terrific Tags'!  Create something this week that includes a tag - yay!

DSCN1707I made these little favor treats for the annual holiday bunco party I hosted yesterday for my girlfriends!  We enjoyed a holiday tea party and I had one of these waiting for each of the girls at each of their place settings!

DSCN1706I used a variety of stamp sets from Paper Sweeties to create the sentiment banners:  Ho Ho Ho, Make the Season Bright, Noel and Season of Love - easy peesy!DSCN1705And then I die cut ornament shapes to use as tags on my favors and attached them to the favor wrapper!  The recipients can slide off the wrapper to enjoy the flavored coffees inside and then slide the wrapper back onto the packaging to save as a pretty little holiday decoration -- cute added to a basket of holiday teas or coffees sitting on the kitchen counter or on the kitchen windowsill!

Please be sure to visit The Shabby Tea Room to be inspired by the rest of the Shabby Girls projects this week and then I hope you'll have time to play along for a chance to win a $20 gift certificate from Paper Sweeties!

Psst …

Hello crafty friends!  I'm excited to share a little something with you today that I created for the Paper Sweeties October release!  It's my first attempt at the wildly popular 'chalkboard' technique that is ever so popular in the craft world currently!

papersweeties-debbie-10-14-13(2)I used the *new* Guess What stamp set to stamp the tag and sentiments ....

papersweeties-debbie-10-14-13(3)... and Make Today Beautiful stamp set to create the sweet polka dotted leaves on the pretty pink bloom!papersweeties-debbie-10-14-13(1)A couple layers of cardstock, patterned paper, ribbons, lade and a glittered star complete today's card!  I love how the pink pops off the page against the black background!

The Guess What stamp set is really trendy and fun!  It has a word bubble and chalkboard tag along with 16 FUN sentiments that can be stamped inside the bubble or tag ... or directly onto your card or project.  It will quickly become one of your 'go to' stamp sets for all your crafty projects!

I'll be back again tomorrow sharing a little something fall and pretty for our BIG RELEASE PARTY!  Until then, have fun checking out the Sweeties Teamies projects ... and I hope you have time to play along with our current challenges --> you'll find links directly to them on the sidebar of this blog!

It’s a Party … TKJ #141!

Debbie TKJ #141 (6)

Hello crafty peeps!  The new challenge at The Kraft Journal #141 is all about 'Buttons, Bows or Bangles' ... oh my!  I created a set of beverage tags that can be used over and over each time you host a party!  The tags will help your party attendees know what kinds of beverages are in which serving containers.  I began with bases of large Grungy Prim Tags onto which I layered pieces of Black & Kraft Cardstock.  Next I added Oval Kraft Labels to the middle of the tags.  I tied a length of pretty Black Twill Ribbon around the centers of the tags and then layered sentiment banners printed on Buff Ivory Cardstock over the ribbon - popped up with dimensionals.

Debbie TKJ #141 (7)

Last, for each tag I added a little embellishment: for the lemonade tag, I created a lemon out of a yellow button, Black Baker's Twine and a Tiny Green Wooden Clothespin.

For the Sweet Tea tag, I added Bottle Caps to spell out 'tea'.

For the Margarita tag, I added a piece of Flair and some pretty Bright Green Hemp Cording.

Debbie TKJ #141 (6)Please be sure to visit The Kraft Journal Challenge Blog to be inspired by the other teamies' projects this week, and then I hope you'll have time to join in on the fun for our 'Buttons, Bows or Bangles' challenge for a chance to win some goodness from The Kraft Outlet Shop!

Spring Is Here … TSTR #162!

Hello crafty peeps!  I'm popping in today to share my project for The Shabby Tea Room #162 - 'Pretty Shabby' inspired by this photo:

I created today using the Creations by AR template - Birdhouse Topiary!

Debbie TSTR #162 (1)This has got to be my all-time favorite template ever ... I adore birdhouses and sweet little birdies!  This was so much fun to create!

Debbie TSTR #162 (2)I punched a bird from sheet music paper from an old holiday song book and added her to a nest of recycled Spanish moss that I collected while walking a golf course with my hubby and sons, and then filled it with three little 'eggs'.  I adhered a sheet music piece of flair and created a shabby roof by distressing and inking the edges of the card stock.

Debbie TSTR #162 (3)I stamped this sweet tag using the Paper Sweeties Spring Is Here and Beautiful stamp sets!

Debbie TSTR #162 (4)I just love how this sweet project turned out!  What do you think?

Please be sure to pop on over to The Shabby Tea Room to check out the inspiration projects from the rest of the teamies ... and then I hope you'll give our 'Pretty Shabby' challenge a try for your chance to win an awesome prize package from Creations by AR!
