A Special Tea Party with The Kraft Journal!

A Special Tea Party with The Kraft Journal!

Today I am sharing a tea-themed gift set she created with all the wonderful packaging options offered at The Kraft Outlet!  There are so many fun options to choose from to help make your creative visions a reality!  First, I created a birthday card by cutting a scallop shaped base using Lunch Bag Kraft Cardstock and inking the edges with cream paint to create a time-worn look.  Next I layered a white paper doilie and then a pretty little tea pot image she stamped directly onto patterned paper using the Tea For Two stamp set and then die cut using the Tea For Two Sweet Cuts die.  Next I added a sentiment banner I stamped onto Buff Ivory Cardstock using the Occasions stamp set – inking the edges with Twill paint.  I created a sweet little ‘tea bag tag’ by stamping the heart image onto Buff Ivory Cardstock using the Little Wishes stamp set, stamping the sentiment using the It’s Tea Time stamp set, die cutting using the Beautiful Little Wishes Sweet Cuts die set and then attaching it to the tea pot using Robin Egg Baker’s Twine.  Last, some Robin Egg Sequins and a pretty satin flower were added for a little pop of color at the top of the tea pot.

I personalized the back of this card using the Hand Stamped By stamp set!

Next, I created a sweet ‘Tea For Two’ tea bag set by wrapping two Berry Blossom White tea bags with a length of Baby Pink Berry Seam Binding and then creating a bow using another snipett of the Baby Pink Berry and a piece of Cake Crumbs Seam Binding.  A tag was stamped onto Buff Ivory Cardstock using the Beautiful stamp set and cut with the coordinating Beautiful Little Wishes Sweet Cuts die set, a sentiment added using the Tea For Two stamp set, a tiny tea cup and steam were stamped onto another piece of Buff Ivory Cardstock using the I’m Having a Tea Party stamp set and then this little treat was finished by adding three beautiful iridescent Bubblegum Sequins!

I created another treat to include in this gift set by adding some Pink and White Polka Dot Washi Tape to the bottom of a Small Glassine Bag.  I die cut a doilie shape using a piece of Lunch Bag Kraft Cardstock, folded it in half and placed it over the Glassine Bag (which has a couple of Raspberry Tea Cookies placed inside).  The doilie is held in place using a Tiny Black Wooden Clothespin.  I created a pretty little nosegay using a Chipboard Office Button, a pretty satin flower and a couple of leaves cut from a piece of Burlap. To finish off this little sweet treat, I stamped a Grungy Prim Shipping Tag with a sentiment using the Join Me For Tea stamp set, added a couple of Bubblegum Sequins and then tied it onto the nosegay using a length of Robin Egg Baker’s Twine onto which I tied a couple of Rusty Bells.

I created a pretty bag to hold all of the gift set elements by adding a strip of Pink and White Stripe Washi Tape onto the bottom of a Mini Polka Dot Merchandise Bag.  Next I folded a white paper doilie over the top of the bag and added a length of Natural Burlap Ribbon which she frayed the ends to give it a shabby look.  I adhered a pretty pink tulle bow and a couple of ‘leaves’ I created using a Robin Egg Paper Straw.  The doilie is held in place using a glittered library clip.

Lovely gift set, Debbie! I love the whole idea of it and the way you embodied it. Each part of the set has it’s own charm, and I think that birthday card with a teapot is just adorable!
