14 Mar Paper Sweeties March Release Countdown!
Hello crafty peeps! Did you enjoy the Designer’s Blog Hop yesterday for day #1 of the March *new* products release here at Paper Sweeties? Full of springtime and Easter goodness … YUM! The Design Team girlies hit a home run with their adorable inspiration projects!! Today I’m sharing a little something bright and cheery I created using the *new* Bunny Hugs and Kisses stamp set!
This darling bunny outfit fits all of the Sweeties – Abigail, Emma, Jake and Sophie! To dress your Sweetie, you can stamp the bunny outfit and then stamp one of the doll faces directly onto the face area of the bunny costume … or you can do what I did — I cut out the center out of the bunny outfit and then added a stamped Sweetie face underneath to give the outfit some dimension and depth and make it look like one of the Sweeties was really inside the outfit! Either way, this bunny costume is really cute as a button … great for spring, Easter, Halloween, children’s party invitations, birthday projects and more! The set also includes a sweet little bunny nose and I added some whiskers with a black marker.
I colored my images using Prismacolor Pencils and Gamsol. The cute hair bow was handmade using air dry clay and a mold and then I added a Grape Sequin to the middle of the bow. I stamped one of the sentiments from this cute set onto a banner shape and used lots of bright and cheery, mixy matchy patterned papers and Washi Tape to complete my card!
