TSTR #221

This week for The Shabby Tea Room challenge, we are to be inspired by the colors in the photo + use lace/ribbon, roses and bling/glitter … my kind of challenge 😉

Debbie TSTR #221 (2)

I used a variety of neutral patterned papers on the base of my card.  Next, I added a band and bow created using Bubblegum and Oatmeal Seam Binding.  I added several paper roses and two pink trinket pins to the nosegay.  I hand cut a heart from pink glitter chipboard and added it behind the nosegay.  I die cut a banner shape, inked the edges to create a time-worn look and then stamped the sentiment using the So Sweet of You set from Paper Sweeties!

I added several Bubblegum Sequins and then die cut the banner from the Sweeties Wagon Sweet Cuts die set and added it to the bottom of the seam binding band.  A snipett of vintage lace trim was machine sewn to the bottom of the card to complete the design!

I enjoyed making this very girly card … and gave it to someone special I work with!  I’ve been getting blisters on my feet at work (White House Black Market) from running around in heels, so {sweet} Anna got me a box of Barbie pink Bandaids!  That was SO sweet of her!

Please visit The Shabby Tea Room to be inspired by the other Shabby Girls gorgeous projects this week, and then I hope you’ll have time this week to play along for a chance to win a shopping spree in the Paper Sweeties boutique!

Thanks for stopping by today!  Hugs – xoxo
