TKJ #147

We have a color challenge this week at The Kraft Journal and I decided to  make a set of treat bags to hand out at a Thanksgiving dinner party we attended over the weekend!

Debbie TKJ #157 (1)

I began with a Small Kraft Coffee Bag onto which I added some postage stamp Gaffer Tape and then filled them with Lindt Chocolates.

Next I folded over a white paper doilie and attached it to the top of the bag with a Tiny Colored Wooden Clothespin.  I stamped a Designer’s Special Grungy Prim Tag using the Season of Love stamp set from Paper Sweeties, attached a Green Hemp Cording bow and then attached the tag to the doilie.

Last I added a pretty Prima bloom, some Burlap leaves and a pretty Stick Pin to complete these yummy treats!  They would make darling hostess gifts, party favors or neighbor/teacher appreciation gifts.

Debbie TKJ #157 (4)Please visit The Kraft Journal challenge blog to be inspired by the rest of the teamies gorgeous projects this week and then we hope you’ll give our color challenge a try for a chance to win some goodness from The Kraft Outlet Shop!

I was inspired by these lovely challenges:  Catered Crop – thank you; Paper Issues – grateful; Pile It On #46 – with thanks; Tuesday Throwdown #173 – gratitude; Simon Says Stamp – thanks/thanksgiving; Word Art Wednesday #106 – anything

  4. Deb,
My first glance at the thumbnail I thought it was a tag. I so enjoy tags but this is just too sweet for words. One thing I haven’t done is to CASE things I like and make at least six. You are such a great crafter and I enjoy popping by. The colors and layout are quite beautiful on your gifts bags. Thank you for posting with us.
