Hi my crafty friends!  I’m popping in today to share a little card I recently created for this week’s new challenge at The Shabby Tea Room #196 – ‘Noel’!

Photo Inspiration #196We are to use polka dots and buttons on our projects this week … easy peesy!Debbie TSTR #196 (1)I printed a gorgeous vintage image contained in the Christmas Baubles set from Digital Papers by Janet Etsy and attached it to the base of my card.

Debbie TSTR #196 (2)I created a 3-D banner sentiment using the Noel stamp set from Paper Sweeties and then made a pretty nosegay using red & white polka dotted grosgrain ribbon, a button, baker’s twine and a couple of Rusty Jingle Bells!

Please be sure to visit The Shabby Tea Room to be inspired by the other Shabby Girls’ gorgeous projects this week and then I hope you’ll have time to play along for a chance to win some awesome goodness from Janet’s shop!

Inspired by these current challenges:  Cupcake Inspiration #240 – holly berries; Paper Issues – Christmas; Ribbon Carousel #88 – anything; Word Art Wednesday #109 – anything; Really Reasonable Ribbons #85 – button, text, polka dots;  Ribbon Girl – Christmas; Pile it On #48 – P is for – polka dots; 7 Kids College Fund #88 – anything goes; Paper Sweeties December challenge – inspired by girl

  1. Debbie, An adorable image and as usual I must tell you a story. As a very young child I went hunting with my Dad because we needed food. My first muff was rabbit fur which my Mother made for me. It was lined with lining from an old coat. The border at the base of the card and your nosegay are both as inspirational as that so sweet image. Thank you for posting with us.
    Blessings and prayers,
