14 May Paper Sweeties | May 2022 Featured Products Inspiration – Day #1
Hello crafty friends — welcome to day #1 of the May 2022 Featured Products Inspiration event here at Paper Sweeties! This month we are featuring all of our sweet doll & outfit stamp sets and coordinating doll body sweet cuts die sets!!
For today’s featured inspiration project, I am sharing a bright and cheerful card I created using our cutie patootie, Madison doll dressed in the outfit from the Aloha stamp set! (All products linked below). This month I am showing how you can use the SAME basic layout for the card base to create three unique cards for different occasions throughout the year.
I stamped Madison and then die cut her body. Next I stamp the outfit twice — once on white cardstock and once on the patterned paper. I fussy cut the two outfits and paper pieced the top and capri pants onto Madison’s body. I colored her hair with watercolor pencils and blended with Gamsol. I stamped the hat and bag onto white cardstock, fussy cut and colored.
I die cut the scalloped oval twice — once on gingham patterned paper and another time on pink cardstock. I alternated the pieces and adhered them to the layered card base. I stamped the sentiment inside the oval, added foam dots to Madison and the bag and then adhered them to the card base.
