We have a color challenge this week at The Kraft Journal #139! I love color challenges!! I began by cutting a pumpkin shaped base. Next I added a couple layers to create texture and volume – a white paper doilie, a patterned paper ruffle created using a piece of Kraft & Black Cardstock, a gorgeous piece of Damask Washi Tape and Burlap to create the pumpkin stem.
I then added two Pewter Stick Pins and a Round Metal Edge Grungy Prim Tag onto which I stamped a sentiment from the Too Cute To Spook stamp set. Last I wrapped a length of Brights Hemp Cording around the pumpkin stem and adhered a pretty bloom.
Be sure to hop on over to The Kraft Journal to grab this week’s color graphic and play along for a chance to win some awesome goodness from The Kraft Outlet Shop!
Inspired by these challenges: Really Reasonable Ribbons #80 – shabby chic & ribbons; Top Tip Tuesday #110 – shaped card; Moxie Fab World – stickers & tape challenge (damask washi tape); Moxie Fab World – general craft supplies challenge (burlap, paper doilie & metal office tag); Moxie Fab World – ready-made embellishments challenge (Prima flower, Jenni Bowlin trinket pins)
A lovely Halloween card. Lots of lovely textures and interest. Thanks for joining Top Tip Tuesday. Elaine
