Got Candy? … TKJ #137

TKJ sketch #137We have a sketch challenge this week at The Kraft Journal … I LOVE sketch challenges!!

Debbie TKJ #137 (2)For today’s project, I rotated the sketch on it’s side for my design!  I began with a base of Lunch Bag Kraft Cardstock onto which I layered a piece of  Chalkboard Stock Paper.  Next I added a piece of patterned paper from the Kraft & Black Cardstock Pad in Damask and then added a cute little Halloween digital printed image from Betty’s Etsy shop.

I then tied several lengths of Brights Hemp Cording around the base of the card and tied it into a bow.  I added a sweet little Metallic Lock & Key tied on with Black Baker’s Twine.  I created my sentiment pennant by first cutting a scalloped circle from Lunch Bag Kraft Cardstock, then cutting a circle from Buff Ivory Cardstock and then stamping a sentiment from the Too Cute To  Spook stamp set onto the pennant.  Last, I added two flag tails which I created by adding Damask Washi Tape to two pieces of scrap Lunch Bag Kraft Cardstock and adhering onto the circle base.

Debbie TKJ #137 (1)Please visit the Kraft Journal challenge blog to check out the amazing inspiration from the rest of the teamies … and then I hope you’ll give our sketch challenge a try this week for your chance to win some goodness from The Kraft Outlet Shop!
