It’s a Party – Day 3!

It’s a Party – Day 3!

Hello crafty friends!  I’m so happy that you stopped by again today for a little peek-a-boo at today’s projects for day three of the Birthday Designer’s Hop to celebrate Paper Sweeties 1st Birthday!  I thank you all from the bottom of my heart for all of your sweet comments and e-mails telling me how much you like your Paper Sweeties stamps.  We LOVE our customers — new and old!!  These stamps are a dream come true for me and are a combination of a lot of time spent learning and a ton of perseverance and sheer willpower to make them come to fruition, but SO worth every single second!!  My heart flutters when I see the fantastic things you all create with your Paper Sweeties stamps!

To help us celebrate our BIG first birthday, we are planning fun little things all month long for you to enjoy and be inspired by!  We hope some of the ideas that you see here will spark your creativity and inspire you to create something fun out of stamps, paper and glue!

1stBirthday

So, without further ado, let me share what the first fun event is that we have planned for this month … I invited a bunch of my very talented crafty friends to join me for a DESIGNER’S BIRTHDAY BLOG HOP!  Friday, Saturday and today, we’ve had TWENTY FIVE amazing designer’s who will be sharing sweet treats, cards, layouts, gifts, party favors, home decor and birthday-themed projects — created using a variety of stamps from the Paper Sweeties boutique!  FUN, right?!?

Well, we can’t have a birthday party celebration without gifts, right!  I‘ll be giving away the ENTIRE AUGUST RELEASE to one lucky person — there will be five sets released = $50 retail value!  So, here’s what you need to do to be eligible to win some yummy candy from this three-day hop:

#1 – FOLLOW the Paper Sweeties blog (Bloglovin’ link on sidebar)

#2 – LIKE and SHARE about us on our Facebook Fan Page

#3 – COMMENT on any August blog post – let us know you follow our Blog and Fan Page

#4 – POST our Paper Sweeties birthday graphic (above) on your blog and share about our party with your crafty friends

#5 – VISIT all of the designer’s blogs linked here each day and leave a little love for them too!  Come back here and leave us a comment telling us which of today’s projects was your favorite and why!  Do you have more than one favorite — leave each of your choices in a separate comment for ADDITIONAL chances to win!

The winner of the AUGUST RELEASE will be announced on August 18th (my birthday) and will be chosen from ALL comments left on this blog from August 1st through August 17th!

We’ll be attending the Creating Keepsakes Convention in Charlotte, NC August 15th – 17th … I hope to see many of our local crafty friends there!  Leave us a comment to let us know if you’re attending!  We’ll be releasing a ‘show exclusive’ stamp set AT THE SHOW and a couple more surprises!  I’ll share pics of this exciting and fun weekend here on the blog after I return!!!

Okay, lets get to peekin’ at my projects for today!  I created an entire birthday set for the three-day hop.  Today I’m sharing some sweet treats that you can make as party favors and take away gifts!

papersweeties-birthday(15)First up, we have a pretty little striped milkshake paper cup that I found at Home Goods.

papersweeties-birthday(16)I stamped a frame and sentiment using the Beautiful stamp set and adhered it to the front of the cup – tying a pretty aqua twill ribbon around the middle of the cup.

papersweeties-birthday(17)Next, I created some yummy treat bags – one is filled with pink and white peanut butter M&M’s and I used the Little Wishes stamp set and Paradise Aqua Mist seam binding to create the tag.  The second one is filled with Raspberry tea cookies and I used the Occasions stamp set to create the banner tag.  The topper was made with the same hot pink and polka dotted cupcake liners I used on Friday’s banner and Saturday’s cupcakes with toppers!

papersweeties-birthday(18)To finish off the treats, I added a couple of Raspberry Lemonade drink mixes, some adorable hot pink and white striped paper straws and some hot pink paper crinkle!

papersweeties-birthday(20)The next favor idea I’m sharing is a sweet little gift box that I covered with hot pink polka dotted pattern paper and then adhered some aqua pom-pom trim around the top.  I created a soft baby pink tissue paper flower and added some sparkly aqua chipboard leaves.  The tag was created using the Banner Wishes and You’re Invited stamp sets!

papersweeties-birthday(19)Inside, I added some aqua crinkle paper and a sweet little treat bag containing Raspberry tea cookies!  The tag was stamped using the Little Wishes stamp set and tied on with some Pink Bubblegum seam binding!

papersweeties-birthday(21)A sweet treat for sure, don’t you think?!?

papersweeties-birthday(22)And my last little gift idea is a package of hot pink polka dotted napkins that match my party decor … I wrapped them with aqua twill ribbon and adhered a white paper doilie, a delicious hot pink bloom with aqua glittery chipboard leaves!

papersweeties-birthday(23)I stamped the tag on this gift using the Home Tweet Home and Occasions stamp sets!

papersweeties-birthday(24)And here is my complete party set: banner, cupcakes with toppers, milkshake treat cup, tiny box party favor, polka dotted napkin take away gift and beverage glass charms!

Please be sure to visit my crafty friends’ blogs — oh my goodness, you won’t want to miss a single stop on the hop — so much eye candy, inspiration and ideas … these ladies are simply amazing!
