Hello crafty friends! I’m popping in today to share a little something I whipped up for this week’s challenge at The Shabby Tea Room #165 – ‘Totally Textured‘!
We’re to be inspired by the photo and use DRY EMBOSSING and STITCHING to create texture on our projects this week — FUN! Two of my favorite things to do when paper crafting!
I used the Vintage Wallpaper embossing folder on white vellum to create the base for my card. It was adhered using machine zig-zag stitching around the edges. Next I die cut a window shape and then stamped L-O-V-E using the Fancy Monograms set and adhered the letters to the inside of the window panes. Next I added some pretty pearl flourishes to the corners of my card.
And last, I created a pretty little nosegay by adding a couple of paper flowers, a white glittered chipboard heart and two leaves I stamped using the Make Today Beautiful stamp set!
Paper Sweeties is the sponsor in the Tea Room this week and will provide this week’s winner with a $20 gift certificate to the shoppe! Please be sure to make a visit to The Shabby Tea Room to check out the beautiful inspiration from the rest of the Shabby Girls!
Hugs!
