Hello friends and Happy Easter!!  I hope you’re enjoying a beautiful day with your family and friends!  I am blessed to have my two sons home today from college, so hubby and I are enjoying sharing the day with them!  The bunny paid us a little visit and we have some yummy food planned for our holiday meals today!  I love spring — how about you?

Homespun Elegance Prince Blog Hop

I’m excited to pop in today to share a couple of projects I recently created for a Designer’s Hop I was invited to participate in by a sweet stampy friend of mine!  Jessica, from Homespun Elegance, just celebrated the 2nd birthday of her little son, Mason, so in honor of this special occasion, she organized a designer’s hop with a few crafty ladies that she knows!  The hop begins today and runs through Tuesday, April 2nd.  Each day a different group of designers will be sharing projects they made that go with a birthday, boy and celebration theme … how FUN!

So, without further ado … let’s get this party started!  Here’s my little boy celebration set … (click on the photos to see larger images of each project)

This set was just too much fun to create … so bright, cheery, fun and whimsical!

I used Jake, Hippity Hoppity, You’re My Prince Charming and Banner Wishes to create the card!

The fun banners were created using the Banner Wishes, You’re Invited, You Make Me Smile and You’re My Hero stamp sets!

The fun polka dot and chevron pattern flair pieces were a gift I recently received from my stampy friend, Joscelyn — they’re from her shop: Bossy Joscie!

YUM!!!  These were so simple to make using chipboard pieces, stickers, flair and sentiment stamped banners … what a quick and fun way to create pretty party favors and decorations for your next event!

So, what do you think of my little boy party set?  This can very easily be made into a little princess party by changing the colors and using either Abigail, Emma or Sophie — dressing them up in a pretty party dress for your special event!

Be sure to hop on over and check out the fun projects created by the rest of the designers on today’s hop schedule:
